@BLP_Software Does the Pro Controller have analogue triggers? The controller looks solid already, so analogue triggers would be a nice plus. Hopefully...
@FragRed, Arcade Archives to date has been exclusive to PS4, I've even seen them on the UK PSN store. Pushsquare have ran articles of these games being released but I cannot find any reviews.
@Vee_Flames Yeah its digital from what i could feel. Couldnt really see in that low light.
Ill say this. Aint breaking any of this stuff easily. All controllers are like Nintendium+. ProController is reeeeeaaallll good. I cant praise it enough.
Even with my hand issue of not being able to move my thumb down far to hit a bow face button analog stick it feels comfortable still which is a plus.
Now Playing: Mario & Luigi Brothership, Sonic x Shadow Generations
Now Streaming: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
the games: Xenoblade 2, Splatoon 2, that Super Mario game, third party support and etc.
the options to have other controllers for all of these games
the price could been abit lower for me, but $300 is okay.
What i didnt like
the expansive on thoese joy cons, controllers etc.

No analogue triggers is a big bummer. At this point I guess Nintendo could produce Joy-Cons with analogue triggers with the Switch's configuration, but I'm not exactly hopeful for that.

The Joycons felt really cheap to me. They felt like a drop would break the casing and most likely that would leave the controller useless.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
I’ve been seeing everyone react to the Switch, I’ve seen very pessimistic, and very optimistic. I wanted to shed my own opinion, and for that, I want to clarify that I was born in 98, I don’t have NES nostalgia, nor was I ever a fanboy of modern games.
I’ll probably buy a Switch next year, mainly because I don’t have the money for one, and because I’d rather not buy hardwear day one. The Switch feel s perfect for me, and yes I didn’t mention the price because I don’t think it’s too bad, and yes 1, 2, Switch should have been included or as an optional pack like that premium Wii U. I want the Switch, but I feel like a niche, and maybe a console shouldn’t have been made for a niche, so I hope more people with different wants in their consoles.
@rallydefault Did you find that out about ARMS during the treehouse stream? I couldn't find any information about it online. Even still, if 1-2 Switch isn't a pack in title, I just don't see it doing well personally.
And about the motion controls, they're a minority now, some may like them, but the casual audience that was attracted by the Wii has gotten a bit smaller, in comparison to traditional controls, unless Nintendo can get that audience back. Traditional controls aren't boring.
I don't think there's anything wrong with them, as long as they're optional, which it sounds like they are. I personally don't care about them that much, but hey, if Switch VR does happen, maybe the JoyCons could work well for that.
@BiasedSonyFan For most Wii games, motion controls were compulsory. Nintendo is doing it right this time by making motion controls optional unless it doesn't make any sense at all without them (e.g. 1, 2 Switch).
Motion controls were always optional. That choice is up to the developers making the video games.
By optional I mean being able to switch back and forth at will. Being forced to use one or the other depending on the game isn't optional IMO. You could always skip the motion control games I guess, but I don't think anyone on earth hated them that much, lol.
I'm happy the joy cons work as motion controls. I like using them a lot. I'm excited I'll still be able to use them like a steering wheel in Mario Kart! I don't think it'll bring back the casual audience though. They're not going to spend $300 on a second device when they have been satisfied playing mobile games.
The other announcement I'm half-excited/half concerned about is the online-play with VC. I'm guessing that means they're definitely redoing all VC games for the switch, so we'll have to wait for the slow trickle of games to release and we'll have to buy them all again. I wish I could just transfer what I have over with the features currently available, with the option to upgrade as online play becomes available, but I doubt nintendo will let us do that .
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
About that game lineup (sorry if that has been posted already) :
Nintendo's Damon Baker tweeted that there will be more reveals for the Switch in the coming weeks.
Recovered enough from the day to talk about my experience down at the Apollo for the event.
I felt the Joy Cons were great to hold, and 1-2 Switch definitely makes a good party game. It feels more a compliment to a group party rather than something you'd actually arrange one over, however.
Arms feels like a good fighter, though from what I saw and played seems stuck in the middle between technical and casual fighting game. Street Fighter 2 is an interesting choice for a 2D fighting game, though of course I'm not sure on if that is a port for other consoles too.
And talking of third party, I played Fast Racing RMX. It definitely feels a solid enough game, though not having played the original I don't know of any changes. Tried Sonic Mania - even if I had already played it at Summer of Sonic - just to see what playing it with a side Joy Con with the console in its stand form would be like. I'd probably just stick with the 'Cons attached to the screens.
I didn't really want to try for the big three [Zelda, Splatoon, Mario Kart] as the queues always looked real long. I guess that shows the popularity of them.
In terms of how the event itself was presented - the consoles themselves were placed in sealed glass containers, which made resetting them after a crash a waiting game for the guy with the key to come and open one, and as far as I could tell, he'd have mostly been at the Splatoon booth. Lines were a chaotic mess, and the space just seemed too small for the amount of people inside the venue.
I'm not giving my experience a negative owing to that though. It was still very much a positive. My pre-order has been in place since the presentation ended, and it will stay. I might not have my mind made up on what games I want for it yet, but I'm sure by release I will have.
