I read on Laura Kate Dale's Twitter that "Both of the JoyCons will have motion control, according to the patents". Everyone probably knew that already, but I didn't, so thought I'd share. I heard it was only the right JoyCon that had motion control, but apparently not.
@KirbyTheVampire
Right Joycon -> Wii Remote+ with NFC and an analogue stick
Left Joycon -> Nunchuck with Motion Plus and more buttons
Switch with Joycons -> A fully portable Wii U GamePad
Switch when docked -> A Wii U when played with something other than the GamePad
Joycon Grip -> A second option for charging the Joycons
Dock -> A way to plug in all the cables when playing on the TV
Also, with the way that the Joycons have been configured? I wouldn't be at all surprised of a lot of Switch games supported the WiiMote + Nunchuck combo. Because that's basically what the Joycons are
It's mostly the eyes, the thief (or how I'm gonna call him, Not-Ban) looks pretty awesome because he has more...normal eyes
Exactly, I really... I hate it, I just hate looking at Dragon Quest. That style is just so disconcerning to someone without any nostalgia or exposure to Dragon Quest or Dragon Ball.
But what's more, I've been intersted by the VR patents that have come out. Basically you just slot the Switch screen into a headset and look at it like that. No idea how it'll work with both eyes or 3D or 90 fps, but that's not what I'm interested in.
What I want to ask is: Are we getting Metroid Prime 4 in Switch VR and would you be into that?
Wouldn't the screen be a problem? As the resolution is supposedly 720p. Up that close it wouldn't look great? They're just patents, some will be used but most remain on the cutting room floor.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE I've never really played much Dragon Quest but that opening looks wonderful. Personally I really like Toriyama's style (as a childhood DB fan) and I think it translates well into 3D.
I'm not saying the VR would be good... but I think they'll want it in the features list anyway. And I think it could be neat as a mode of playing certain games.

Like how they said you could use the gamepad in the next room but in reality you couldn't unless you lived in a house made of wafers.
@skywake It's funny how people forgets that the screen size is more important than the resolution. In fact, the screen size makes the difference more than the resolution. For example: 25" 1080p monitor isn't the same as 27" one with the same resolution. I think the diagram you provided shows what I mean.
Making promise is easy. The hard part is keeping it.

Seems there's a magnetic sensor. An example of what that could be used for is a magnetic screen cover that shuts the screen off (iPads have that feature).
A multi touch capacity screen is also mentioned, with use of the Switch w/o the Joy-Cons (tablet mode basically) mentioned.
