Actually, 2 journalists came out yesterday and confirmed we're getting Zelda Windwaker and Twilight Princess later this year. Whether as a bundle or sold separately, I don't know.

But ya, they said it's 100% for sure happening, and sounded really confident, both of them, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume they know what they're talking about.

We'll then have Zelda Windwaker, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Breath of the Wild, Breath of the Wild 2 and Link's Awakening all on one hybrid handheld console.

People might not realize this is a really strong year so far.

2019 was amazing and till June with Mario Maker 2 where games started flowing there was New super Mario U, Yoshi crafted world ... and that’s it

This year we got Mario 3d world and Bravely default 2 this month, Monster hunter in March, Pokémon snap in April, Famicom detective club and miitopia in May. Also Nintendo almost never release big games in the first half of the year.

@Duboiss Plus No More Heroes 3 in August, and Skyward Sword in July(?), Mario Golf in June, Monster Hunter Stories 2 in June -August somewhere, we probably know most of what's coming pre-September at least. And SMT V should be one of the exclusive holiday titles at least.

@StuTwo Atsushiba Iba and Kideki Kamiya implied in a interview that Bayonetta 3 is gonna be more ambitous then previous Bayonetta games(open-ended Bayonetta game?)@JaxonH oh no!Nintendo is gonna do a Wii U 2.0 they are not gonna continue the hybrid format of the Switch(oh Nintendo).

Yea, again, you're crazy. I can't keep doing this with you. We're getting Wind Waker and Twilight Princess ports whether you like it or not. And Nintendo is going to acknowledge a Zelda anniversary.

I feel like whatever world you live in doesn't have pepperoni pizza. I may be wrong, but that's the feeling I'm getting.

@link3710 I can see SMT V coming out earlier than the holidays

If SMT IV Apocalypse and Persona 5 are any indication it's probably a fall game like Dragon Quest XI S and Witcher 3 were

My bet is we don’t even know the holidays title yet too, Pokémon of course since it’s an annual license ( dlc was replacement for 3rd version last year ) but could also be something other than Botw 2. No one was expecting Age of calamity last year.

Where’s all this BOTW 2 can’t being coming out this year coming from? There’s nothing to suggest that at all. It reminds me of when people convinced themselves BOTW wasn’t gonna be a Switch launch title for no reason.

@jump They said they would show the game later in the year, so there is no reason it cant be this year. But people were so quick to cry over it not being shown right now that they overlooked that bit of information.

Wanted to avoid creating a topic for this so thought I’d try here.

Is the Flip Grip only available from Fangamer, or are there any other stores (preferably UK based) known to stock them?

@FX102A Pretty sure you can only get them from Fangamer last time I checked. I've always wondered why we haven't seen similar accessories of other brands considering how simple yet useful it is.

@rallydefault They haven't acknowledged the Zelda anniversary at all while announcing what is likely the biggest title coming out this year. How in the world is it crazy to think they'll continue to not acknowledge it? A company is only going to acknowledge an anniversary if they think it'll make them money to do so.

I do think we'll get WWHD and/or TP HD ports eventually FYI, just not this year. Probably WWHD in 2023, TP HD in 2024/2025, or both in 2023. I'm assuming 2022 will be BOTW2. (Though if BOTW2 is 2021, TP/WW in 2022 is possible.)

@TheFrenchiestFry The big question is when is SMT III coming. Are they really going to release that in June/July/August and SMT V in September? Not impossible but... I'll be curious to see.

@Giancarlothomaz

Metroid 2? That already came out on the 3DS. Is it maybe an HD upgraded port of the 3DS game then? That would make sense given that so few people bought it. It was a really great game too!

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

TheFrenchiestFry

@link3710 They already confirmed SMT III is a Spring release here. So anywhere between likely April-June is fair game

That also gives time for Persona 5 Strikers to be out there for a while and by positioning SMT III early in the year it will simultaneously tide people over while waiting for SMT V and will probably give them an ample amount of room for whatever they have planned regarding Persona's 25th anniversary

Isnt that Project Triangle Strategy the demo version not the full game?

also is Dragon Quest XI actually that good? Last time I played a Dragon Quest game was Dragon Quest VII for my Nintendo 3DS

@Dezzy Nintendo picked Miitopia out of all the possible 3DS games, doesn't seem that unrealistic anymore for some of the other 3DS games that were completely overshadowed because they weren't on the Switch to reappear like Woolly World (overlooked twice, once as a Wii U game and the 3DS version was overshadowed by Switch), Ever Oasis, Shadows of Valentia, Samus Returns, etc. provided they'd work without 2 screens.

I think Bowser's Inside Story, Persona Q2 and a few Etrian Odyssey games are the main 3DS games from 2017 onwards that couldn't work on the Switch because of heavy usage of the 2 screens on the 3DS.
