@Magician If you wanna feel bad about saying Giga Wrecker is the B team at Game freak...interviews have stated that their non Pokemon titles not only get priority but have seemingly more staff and are the A teams.

Feel bad? Not at all. I'm just playing along with JaxonH's recent fake ranting.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,537 games (as of December 22nd, 2025)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)
"Nippon Ichi Software will release Bokuhime Project for PlayStation 4 and Switch, the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation reveals. A release date was not announced.
Bokuhime Project is a cross-dressing-themed game project started up in September 2017. However, Nippon Ichi Software decided that a game would not be made until its concerns over whether there was any demand for a cross-dressing game were quelled. The company made an official Twitter account in order measure said demand, which recently reached over 10,000 followers."
I'm not sure exactly what a "cross-dressing-themed game" entails, exactly, although I'm guessing it'll generate drama from some predictable groups if it even comes Westward. Either way, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intrigued.
Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)
@Magician I do admit I like Game freaks reasoning for their Gear Project existing and being a priority. Gives new staff experience for Pokemon and experience making other things.
Now how much of a priority it should be is up in the air, but looking at stuff like GIGA WRECKER, whew they need the experience.

We're getting this beauty, but at a whopping $380! Also a collector edition for like $120 that doesnt include the board game (that's one expensive board game).
@Magician
The Dragon Quest XI S Switch is using the new hardware also, though it may not technically release first.

@HobbitGamer Unfortunately no, this is a bundle for Genesis, the Diablo like spinoff game (which does look really good). Darksiders 3 is still among the missing for Switch.
I can't wait for Genesis. Co-op Darksiders seems like a natural progression of that franchise. I loved 3 and this sudden revival of the franchise, as a new fan, brings me joy
@HobbitGamer
Darksiders 1 is on Switch, and the 4th (Genesis, the spinoff) is coming to Switch. And we have a leak that Darksiders 2 is coming also (its inevitable anyways). But no word on the 3rd entry yet.

Uncharted is mediocre. The Last of Us actually works well with the realistic movements and gameplay, but Uncharted is lame. And Yoshi's Wooly World and Kirby Star Allies are mediocre compared to DKC Tropical Freeze or NSMBU. These 2 platformers, despite still being fun, fell well short of Wooly World and Planet Robobot.

Ugh, 9 parchments. Fun game, but I never beat it because there was one specific spot in the last level that glitched where I couldn't progress. Even replayed the game in its entirety and the same thing happened. Worst part is it didn't seem like a prevalent issue, so I might have just been insanely unlucky
Fire Emblem: Three Houses succeeds in its ambitious telling of a land at war helmed by captivating leaders, in which no side has all the answers. Its tense battles are made all the more harrowing thanks to new strategy elements, and the colorful cast of troops you send into the fray are incredibly charming. With a new take on training and bonding with your units, and the many activities and options available to sample, it’s absolutely begging to be played multiple times.

9.5/10 + Editor's Choice
GameInformer and Destructoid also hit it with a 9.5. The hype is most definitely real. The first of 3 of my GotY... has arrived (now awaiting Astral Chain and Dragon Quest XI S).
@Tsurii
It'll come, and good thing too cause I love Darksiders 2.

A common complaint I've heard of Three Houses is that Normal is way too easy for Fire Emblem veterans. So be sure to pick Hard if you are more familiar with it.
Regardless, I cannot wait for tomorrow.
Metroid, Xenoblade, EarthBound shill
I run a YouTube/Twitch channel for fun. Check me out if you want to!
Please let me know before you send me a FC request, thanks.
@Tsurii@JaxonH I actually didn't buy Crafted World or Star Allies after playing their respective demos. I don't like most Kirby games (although Planet Robobot was superb), so that wasn't a big deal, but I was actively disappointed how they ruined the level design and gameplay of Crafted World. Wooly World is such a fun Yoshi game... up there with the SNES original, IMO. By contrast, what I played of Crafted World felt like a scavenger hunt designed with small children in mind.
Really trying to decide if I should opt for Youngblood or MUA3 for my next action game. I'm prob going to finish bloodstained by weeks end or beginning of next week and I'm looking for an action game to fill the void til astral chain.
