Finally decided to play Monster Hunter Stories, and now I just want it or a new on Switch. The poor 3ds could barely handle it at times.

The videos of the past days were at 3pm and 4pm UK time. 3pm has already passed and there's no video so today's clearly different.

I think almost all announcements were made either the day before or the first day of Gamescom itself? I think we have heard all there is to hear about anything Nintendo for the time being.

PSA: today I noticed some colors didn't look right in docked mode in splatoon 2. Turn on the game picture mode with full range.

I compared docked vs undocked like 8 times and this seems to be the most accurate representation.

Can't believe I didn't notice before. The green shirt originally tipped me off.

EDIT: Broke down and bought Sky Gamblers: Storm Raiders (used my gold coins though, so if I don't like it I'm only down a little over a buck). And no, I'm sure the fact that there's an air show in town this weekend and planes have been flying over my house for the past few days didn't affect my decision making...

Bought hollow knight on a whim since it's on sale and I've heard good things. Can't wait to try it out

I just adore the Hollow Knight art style. Really interested to see what else their art designer has done. Every time I meet a new creature or landmark I just have to stop and screenshot everything.

I backed Hollow Knight on kickstarter years ago, back when it was pitched for PC and Wii U and very few people had even heard of it. Who could've known it would turn out to be the masterpiece it is today.

Been playing some Octopath Traveler, I'm currently doing Opjillia's story as Primrose on Chapter 1. This has to be a great taste of old school RPGs with a few twists.

On other news, I'm wondering if we will get a firmware update for the Switch soon?

Stability only for the next 5 years. Don't you know Nintendo doesn't care about system features? We won't get a single new profile pic, but I can bet we'll get at least 27 more stability updates.

I hear Nintendo has a single person working on the creating of features for the Switch OS, but they are only working on it once school is out and they have done their homework, before going to bed at 9pm Mondays to Fridays, 10pm during weekends.

So you guys that have played them all, I'm trying to debate on a companion game for octopath while i wait for torna physical Sept 21.... Ys 8 is too big to fit in there. Is shining resonance also too big? I could finally get into la noire or breeze through Titan quest for like the 10th time in a decade.... Definitely no to Skyrim, and I'm not in a Wolfenstein mood..... Could just return to Splatoon again too.... But if shining fits in the time window that could win too!

There must suuuuurely be some kind of big UI update coinciding with the online service launch next month. Surely.
