@EvilLucario Got it, that will be great then! I'll give Hollow Knight a spin to see how well I'll go with this kind of genre then decide from there (And how pricy is Bloodstained will be. Hopefully not more than $30 >_<)
@Aozz101x And that sounds great! I always want to give their games a try but never get around to it. This one probably will be the first one for me xD
Curious what the 2 Konami titles will be. An action adventure and a compilation. They did say they were planning to bring the Wii Rebirth series to Switch. I doubt they would release those as a compilation though, I think there was only 3,Gradius,Castlevania and Contra.
A Castlevania compilation would be superb or even better a Konami Arcade collection. With how well arcade games are selling on Switch and the success of Bloodstained both are plausible.
As for what the action adventure could be ,I've not got a clue.
With Square Enix and NIS fully on board ,Konami and Capcom half on board ,EA bringing FIFA19 and 2k bringing NBA2K19 and hopefully Bethesda and Ubisoft announcing some games ,it seems 3rd party support isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
I'm just very curious as to why investors are jumping out now when stock is very likely to go higher because the good news doesn't seem to stop.
Because investments aren't made based on whether news is good or bad. They're made based on whether or not it's better than expected or worse than expected. Not unlike the fan forums when you think about it. If for example all they show at E3 is content we already know exists but it is delayed? Good content or not, that's a bad E3 that'll get people less excited about the Switch.
I'd also add that while the recent drop is significant it's not that unusual. They're currently at ~40k Yen, their highest point in the last year was ~50k yen. They only broke 40k in September last year and before then the last time they were above that point was before the GFC in 2008. Really, for most of the Wii U era they were at 15k. I'd hardly call this investors "jumping out"

Has anyone else noticed under Account Information in the eShop, there is a new tab for âYour Subscriptionsâ?
Thereâs an option to set up automatic renewals and an area that says âAvailable Passesâ and then âYou do not have any passes.â
Makes me wonder if there will be other subscriptions besides the online pass.
Just preordered Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate!
Just preordered Lumines!
Waiting on Paladins, wanna see if it includes motion, and if all the premium content can be purchased outright. Or at least, the total dollar amount it would take to purchase all the premium content.
BlazBlue is immaculate btw. This story mode reminds me of Persona 4 Dancing All Night. And I love that game- it's the only game I've ever gotten a platinum trophy on in fact. But ya, BlazBlue is excellent. Snagged the Collector Edition from Arc System Works store.

Man, BlazBlue is pretty low on the eShop best sellers list. Ridiculously low for how great the game is. So is Banner Saga 2 (and the first). How is it a mediocre game like Wizard of Legend plasters the no. 1 spot for weeks and a gem like Banner Saga struggles to hit the top 100? Do people literally only buy pixel art games?
MH Generation Ult is like 200 on the list, but I chalk that up to being newly listed and being so far out from release. It's been lighting up Amazon for a month, so I'm not worried about that one.

@JaxonH No idea about Blazblue, but Wizard of Legend is awesome game (and a NEW game), while Banner Saga is like, most people would have 1 & 2 in their Steam if they are interested with the game.
It's more or less about that people have played it before, and if they want to, still even waiting for them in their Steam library.
@darkfenrir
Idk, I guess I wouldn't say it's not a good game, I just think it isn't as good as you would expect given how much it's stomping the charts.
But other indies have released on Switch that weren't new and still did very, very well. In fact, most releases on Switch do very well. So it's odd seeing these high quality games get utterly ignored.
BlazBlue in particular though. Maybe it'll build up the charts like Southpark did over the next 2 weeks though.

@JaxonH Well, I would say it's the gameplay loops that really addicts people. I agree that it has problem with the content and bosses, but they have to release it early because they ran out of funds it seems. (And is working to fix bugs and more content), and even the "stomping" charts are around 200k copies in a week (and that's over all platform).
Not as big as you think, but not too small either. I'm just glad that it's quite a gem in the middle of rogue-lite genre. (It needs more time to reach Dead Cells of goodness, but I think it's on good path).
And I guess yeah... old releases did well, but it might just be bad time? Or... I don't know, maybe people are waiting for the third game to just snap all 3 at once?
(Unfortunately, BlazBlue I think massively bombed... well, it bombed hard in JP for physical release for sure, hopefully the worldwide release isn't as bad).
What's truly important though, is that despite bombing, it didn't really do significantly worse than the PS4 version. One sold like 4.5k and the other 7.5k. A difference of just a couple thousand copies.
And in the west, neither version is doing particularly well on the Amazon best sellers list, but they are around the same spot (Switch version maybe 30 spots ahead, but both of them are in between 100 and 200).
That's crucial. It's perfectly OK for a game to flop on Switch, provided it likewise flops on other platforms it releases on. Because that proves it's not Switch as a platform that's the issue. It means the next entry will still come to Switch- in fact it may even strengthen the Switch in platform selection, simply because that extra platform helps mitigate losses of low sales.
So BlazBlue is probably fine. It's doing par for the course with respect to other versions.

How do we get Nintendolife to cover E3 properly. It's missing so many livestreams that are relevant to Switch owners. EA stream is about to start. I'm on Pushsquare.
Fighting games that arent sequential entries tend to get slow starts. The FGC has to test the waters and then talk it up to their friends. Folks are complaining about the sprite work for crying outloud. And I'm like "Morrigan..nuff said". Also the DLC PR backlash isn't helping (I don't think it is as warranted although I wouldn't have announced it so far ahead of the game's launch. I know I'm going to get the game but I had to push it back since I'm getting the full version and I have a game on the way this month. Although since I'm covering for someone at work I may just cave and buy it by the end of the month. Also this game is a big change for any fans of the original source material games (Minus RWYB or however it's spelled...I'm lazy today) so that will also take a bit to catch on. Gotta make sure there is some depth (there seemed to be from what I played of the demo, but I didn't get near as much play time as I wanted.

FIFA 19 this September. No free trial of 18 like other systems, no Unravel 2, and no mention of the system beyond one off hand "PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch" for FIFA 18.
Oh, and they want their cloud streaming service to bring games to anyone, anywhere at anytime.
How....familiar.
