30-in-1 Game Collection: Volume 1 (Nintendo Switch) - Trailer by Teyon
Looks interesting. I’m lacking some co-op madness besides Mario Kart, since there’s no sign of a Wii Sports follow-up or Smash Bros. For 15 bucks this seems worthwhile.
@Meowpheel I have couple of Teyon games. I haven't bought any but they had this competition called Lucky Friday on Facebook where you could win games. It was pretty easy to win. They might still have the thing going, at least there's a link on their Facebook page but it requires a Facebook account and I've deleted mine. Anyway, I've won Robot Rescue 3D (not that bad but it's ugly, hard and not that fun), Escape the Virus: Shoot'em Up! (there's barely any game there) and then there was that one game I'm trying to forget I ever downloaded. I don't remember its name. I turned it on once, played for 3 minutes and then I deleted it. It was so bad I didn't want it on my 3DS. It's the only game I've ever deleted. They have some games that are supposedly above average but I'm personally avoiding all of them.
As 30 in 1 games go, that actually doesn't look too bad. 50p a game, can't go wrong.
Can't believe the price and the amount of DLC for A.O.T 2, 20 different outfits to buy at £2.69/ $2.99 each. Or £89.99/$99.99 for the Deluxe Edition. The game looks like it might be quite good though.
@JaxonH "I'm sure companies like EA see Nintendo as a thorn in their side. How much easier would it be for them if they just had two platforms to release games on."
For EA it's bigger than just having to worry about a different architecture and form factor. It's not about the platform, it's about the business model. Nintendo represents the old school business model of retail software, release schedules, 1st party strength, and game content formats that suit those models. In EA's quest to alter the industry and it's complete trajectory into GaaS and ongoing demonetization they need that retail release schedule model to die, and Switch's success shows a strong market for that traditional model and gives a path for it to continue growing, offsetting so much groundwork they'd laid to kill it off. Switch isn't an inconvenience for them, it's a blockade of their entire business plan.

@Anti-matter I think writable optical discs for data (not for video) are past their time...they're just an inconvenient, slow format now that SD cards and such are much cheaper. To me, SD/thumbdrives is the proper replacement for floppy discs that CDs never were. Of course I fully support physical media, just not optical formats. Read-only optical is fine for streamed content (video/audio, and 1-time video game installs like PS4) though where no random access is required, but Switch's game cards are light years ahead.
@YummyHappyPills If people are actively making you feel like you need to leave Nintendo Life, or for that matter, any website or service, then don't. I don't know what was said or how it all came about, but I don't think you should ever feel you are not welcome on any community site. It's a place to express your opinions, regardless if others agree with you or not. It should NOT be a place where you feel people hate you or want you gone.

@YummyHappyPills Oy, what the heck were they thinking over there? I checked it out, and yeesh. Sega really gave a quote like that? Not to mention the grammar errors in the article... The whole thing looks highly unprofessional on all sides.
@link3710 At this point I wake up and see them painting an aspect of my life that no one has known about until now as something dehumanizing, which if their commenters didnt aim directly at me, the staff do.
Christ man.
Anyway, Switch is good, Switch is life, where is my booze, getting drunk tonight.
Coz bugger me after this start today will suck worse than yesterday

Then ask yourself, would you keep someone like that who paints an entire subset of society with an unfavourable brush that shows them as freaks, as an employee?
