@Zyrac I think they're just saving the connectivity announcement for when the Switch game does get revealed. We've seen Nintendo become much more secretive during the Switch's existence, maybe as a result of Eurogamer leaking the console itself.
Well recieved my switch not long ago. Applied my screen protector straight of the box and my nyko thin case and not it's charging. Ready for late...a question those as I don't have a sd card yet. Is it possible save to internal storage then transfer to SD card? Also for anyone in UK. Check your local Argos as they are selling xenoblade for £29.99 just picked that up
There is no data management options at all. You have to archive software and redownload to SD card.
@Davey1988 What you do is archive all the games you want to move to the sd card. It doesn't delete saved data as that stays on the system. Then you have to click on each individual game icon and re-download. It will take some time if you have a lot of games to move over but at least you can play other games while this is happening or do it overnight.

Had XC2 pre ordered for months. Special edition too. But I just bought LA Noire and countless other games have gone unbeaten by me. Not to mention XC2 requires a certain ridiculous degree of free time (for working people/students, at least) if I want to truly get engrossed in it rather than play it in short bursts over many months.
So I actually had to cancel my order and be an adult with financial responsibility. And it sucks. But I do have a vacation coming up so I plan on getting it then.
Working with Unity we’ve made some significant breakthroughs and are now confident we’ll have a build ready to submit to Nintendo very soon. Performance is looking good and many significant bugs have been resolved. The light is at the end of the tunnel!
We know many of you are anticipating this version of the game the most, so we’ll try and be as transparent as we can regarding the process to launch. Here’s how it’ll go:
The build goes through THQNordic QA testing to prep for submission. We’re close to starting this process.
Once approved internally, the build will go to Nintendo for certification. This step can take about 10 days.
After approval by Nintendo, the game goes “gold” and THQNordic begins manufacturing and distributing the game. This is the longest phase, since it involves making the physical copies and getting them to store shelves for launch, and can take 6 weeks. We must release both physical and digital on the same day – so as soon as we can get it on the shelf, it’ll be fully launched.
Regarding an official release date, that’ll come once the game is in Nintendo’s hands and we have a bead on how it’s doing in certification.
Silver Lining
Waiting is no fun, but the silver lining is that this version of the game will have numerous balance tweaks, bug fixes and general polish items incorporated right from the start. Many of these are live on the shipped platforms, but a few more important changes are planned that’ll be in for Switch launch (and the other platforms). Here are some of those:
Further tweaking of the difficulty curve to reduce the need for grinding
Elimination of level requirements on items: if you find it or make it, you can use it (this is a big one)
Significant increase in NG+ difficulty
The early game is being made slightly more challenging
Many elite creatures are being rebalanced to address difficulty spikes
Gold penalty for death is being rebalanced so it’s less punitive early on when gold is scarce, and more punitive late game when gold is plentiful
…to name a few.
A Note To Our Backers
For those who are opting to wait for the Switch version (which wasn’t a part of the original campaign), remember you aren’t locked in. You can choose any time to get the game now on one of the platforms the Kickstarter campaign was based on.
Our #1 priority is making sure the Switch version is of top quality and worth the wait. We promise the second we have an exact release date, we’ll shout it from the mountain top.
We’re very grateful for our community’s support and patience! Thank you."
@AlternateButtons I don't really think its spoilers, but in case some people do, here we go. Just a little handy information about the game. To get the true ending, you must play it minimum five times. Basically, you must at the end of the story have moste of one color, red, green, orange, purple or blue. You will understand when you play the game. And as you play, you will unlock more tools to massage her.
@Ralizah From what I've heard about that game, some more balance tweaking before it gets to us is definitely a good thing, could push it up another level since it seems the balance is the main flaw. Course, it's supposed to be pretty freaking good either way, so we'll see. Given the similar timing between this and Yooka Laylee, I'm guessing this new build of Unity was designed to fix a ton of Switch issues... Too bad RIME didn't wait.
@link3710 The one good thing about getting games later than other platforms is that the versions we get are probably going to be a lot more polished at launch. Hopefully that applies to the performance issues noted in other console versions of BC:N as well.
Although really, I'm just glad to finally get an update on these games.
@Spoony_Tech Apparently trolls were down-rating it early, so other people started giving it 10's to counter the troll ratings. Which tells you all you need to know about the usefulness of the user score on Metacritic.
@Davey1988 It gives you the option to put it into sleep mode and other power options.
You should should leave it on and charging all the time. When it gets to 100% it will go into a low energy mode where it won't over charge the battery. If you unplug it you will not have a full charge when playing handheld mode.

Digital Only Future
This is a good video and brings up some valid points for those who feel as if partial downloads is a deal breaker...
I agree with this in general but I don't really agree with it for the Switch. Almost entirely because of the storage limitations but also because it's a cartridge based system where the saves aren't on the cartridge. I'm more happy to share a cartridge than I am a disk, especially on a system where sharing is part of its identity. And when you only have 32GB of internal storage and the only expansion is via SD Cards? As understandable as that is on a portable system it is a bit harder to agree to a large download than it is on a system that has 1TB+.
And in any case, the video you linked to had the main argument as the inconvinience of physical copies. Which is fair enough. But for the Switch my carrying case holds 14 games. That's probably a good 100GB of extra storage I get for free if I think about it that way. Additionally 14 games is quite a lot of games to carry around with you. Personally I'd probably be fine with 4 or 5 TBH and I'll probably have downloaded at least one of those.
Of course it is inevitable and when there are no other compromises it'll be the way to go. But currently a 64GB microSD card costs about the same as a 1TB 2.5" HDD. Or to put it another way, microSD's $/GB is about the same as it was for HDDs when the 360 launched with a similar amount of storage included. So it's not there yet for the Switch.
I may carry around 48 cards worth of space (I don't have 48 games though... yet), which considering the size of a lot of these games... I could probably carry around over 400 GB like that pretty easily in a few years time.
