@Whitewatermoose I would be somewhat surprised if they cancelled Steep since it was a launch title, and honestly a game they were advocating as a major title for themselves last year. If they cancelled Steep it implies they weren't happy with Switch's handling of the game/networking/royalties from fees, or possibly Steep is falling into a hole and won't be coming soon on any platform.

South Park would be welcome, though, Fractured But Whole actually looked really funny. And it would be a fine fit for the Switch's generally older audience.

But I'd be surprised if Steep went anywhere assuming it's still going anywhere.

@Whitewatermoose do you have a link to the South Park rumour? last one I seen in March was the opposite and was more hinting it would not be coming to the switch

Yeah, I really don't think South Park is coming to the Switch. The usual trio of 'PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One' is all we have seen in regards to The Fractured but Whole.

The investors report said it all; "one new unannounced game" and "Just Dance... One or two others as well"

Mario x Rabbids, Just Dance, Rayman Legends and Steep. Anything else is either wishful thinking or a case of scraping the bottom of the rumour barrel.

Xenoverse 2 coming with the story for Xenoverse 1 is nice. Wonder when that'll hit the Switch in the west.

I have 0 idea. But still, it'll be cool to have both there as opposed to needing to port over the first game, later on. I certainly hope the game comes with online play though! That would make it the worst version for me by default if it didn't.

So the actual Splatoon bundle doesn't come with the Splatoon-themed Joy-Con? That's stupid.

That is a really weird way to design a special edition pro controller. I mean I appreciate the translucent design as much as the next guy but maybe they should move away from that for some truly stunning special edition Pro controllers

Japan gets them in the bundle, its not even clear if NA will get them to buy seperately

Just wanna say, props to you for knowing your way around statistics. Using median as opposed to mean which is much more sensitive to outliers was an excellent choice. And correlation can surely be proven using regression analysis. Well done.

Aren't you a fan of both?! Good grief I'm loving Persona 5. Quite possibly one of the best JRPG's I've ever played. Of course I knew I would- heck I even platinumed Persona 4: Dancing All Night on Vita, only game to date I ever hit plat for.

I'm anxious to go back to Persona 4 Golden afterwards, or Shin Megami Tensei IV and SMTIV: Apocalypse. I bought the SMTIV outfit DLC in P5 cause I love the whole blue samurai thing with silver trim.

I am STOKED for SMTV on Switch. That's gonna be one of the best games we see all generation, no doubt.

I figured SMTV was also gonna be on PS4 since they didn't say "Switch version", they said "Console version".

But ya, as @Spoony_Tech was saying, if PS4 can get SMTV then Switch should get Persona 5 (heck even PS3 got it so power argument can't be used to hide behind- truth be told the guy who makes the Persona games is a Sony fanboy and that's really the crux of why it'll never leave PS)

I hope they start selling different variations of some of these JoyCon colour pairs. So far they've shown or released Red/Blue, Black/Black, Yellow/Yellow, Pink/Green. A real missed opportunity to have some other combinations for some regions.

How about a Green/Yellow pair for Australia or country colours in other regions? Or team colours for popular sporting teams in specific countries? Doesn't even have to have the branding because people will know what the colours are about.

Slightly unrelated topic, EBGames Australia's web page has a list of systems you can select on the top of the page. Other systems and categories they don't get much traffic for are hidden behind "more". So if you go through the years you see some changes.

According to EBGames Australia there's no need for the 3DS on the front page anymore. Switch has replaced it entirely. Which should tell us something about what some of these companies think about what the Switch is a successor to. And if EBGames is directing traffic away from 3DS? I assume that a reduction in shelf space will come soon after.

I do hope they have more than neon shades of colors. I would love green joycons but not neon green joycons.
