Sorry to stray from the current back-and-forth, but this could be interesting for lots of people:
I did have the left Joycon issue a couple times when I first started my system. I did NOT have the Joycon attached to the system when I downloaded and applied the Day 1 update.
Just now, I decided to attach the Joycon and FULLY shut down the system (hold down the power button until the menu comes up. Select "Power Options" and then do a full shut down. You have to hold the power button for a few seconds, so be patient.)
I turned the system back on and went into the little calibration screen that we've all been seeing on the YouTube videos about this stuff. Now, and I kid you not, the problem seems to have gone away. Before, the left Joycon would start stuttering when I was sitting maybe 12ish feet away from the dock. Now, it's buttery smooth completely across the room (maybe like 24-30 feet). There is also very little (there is SOME) interruption when I hold the Joycon behind my back or cover it within the normal 12ish feet, and even when I walk further away the stuttering is nowhere near as bad as it was before. It's kind of at the point where you'd have to be watching very carefully to even notice it while you're twirling the stick quickly.
I know people read this stuff on Reddit or whatever and take it with a grain of salt, but honestly, I just did this, and these are the results I'm seeing. I hope this helps! (I posted this in another thread, so mods can delete one or the other if this is too repetitive. Sorry!)
It's so frustrating having to skip all Zelda content in forum and not be able to share and most of all talk with you all. I feel kind of isolated in this days. If all goes well tomorrow i should receive my Zelda and in the day i should receive the call to go get Switch in store. Hope tomorrow i'll be able to enjoy all of you guys

I'm skipping Zelda talk too lol, some people are blasting right through the game and have done/seen way more than I have.

It's spectacular. Just played like another 2 hours since my last post lol I kid you not, I spent about 8 hours just in the starting zone looking for all the secrets and stuff. Obviously I won't say anything, but I found stuff that just blew my mind and honestly made me wonder if other people were able to find it.
This game just constantly makes me stop and is like, "Wow - THIS is what Zelda games were always trying to be."

Yeah, I'm really enjoying the exploration aspect, too. That was one of my favorite things about Wind Waker, but in this game, there is much, much more of that. I also like the difficulty level of the game, too. It's no Dark Souls/Bloodborne, but it's not easy enough that stuff just gets handed to you, either.
Really everything about the game is just awesome. I'd always thought when playing Twilight Princess and Wind Waker that those games would have benefited a lot from larger worlds, so this is super enjoyable IMO. The survival mechanics are also done very well.
Created a Japan account to get those Puyo Puyo Tetris and Dragon Quest Heroes demos. The side effect to doing this is that you get the Japanese news in the new section as well. Not that big of a deal though.
So I walked into my local Bestbuy today and found a Nintendo Switch with Zelda !
Super excited. I mainly game on PS4 but now I can enjoy nintendo again.
I havent been in the loop this is my first nintendo console in a long time. Geesh havent played Zelda since N64.
So what can I look forward to ?
How are you enjoying Zelda?
Will Xenoblade X be coming to the Switch? Or the virtual console?
What games are set to launch soon?
Will achievements/gamescore ever be a thing?
Also what amibo or wev is called can I use with the switch?
Sorry im just excited and want to talk to others who own the console

Yes, but it wont be really on par because "a currently unnamed third-party developer was called in to bring Xenoblade Chronicles X to the Switch hybrid console during its first year on the market."
Would be surprising to ignore this in 2017 but then again its Nintendo, so I wouldnt be surprised if you have to save your gamescore on a seperatly available memory card ... jk.
@Nez Congrats. There's quite a bit to look forward to over the course of the year, though it'll be gradual. Some of the upcoming games to look forward to are Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at the end of April, Disgaea 5 Complete in May, ARMS sometime in the Spring, Splatoon 2 in the summer, and then Fire Emblem Warriors, Xenoblade 2 (hopefully), and Super Mario Odyssey later in the year. That's just what's announced right now.
There's a lot of quality indies coming as well. Pocket Rumble, Shakedown Hawaii, Snake Pass, and Blaster Master Zero are some of the more immediate ones that look pretty good.
All of the amiibo work with the Switch, though not all of them have compatible games currently.

Shakedown and Snake Pass are going to be amazing, I was so glad tot hear Snake Pass was coming to the Switch! The music is sooo good, that DKC dude who is doing the music is a super great composer. Not to mention the gorgeous aesthetics and vibrant levels were what initially caught my eye.
It was this morning, no one in line with only two consoles left. A neon and a grey, I went with the grey and right after someone grabbed the last one !
Is there a specific Zelda Amibo? And does the new zelda hve benefits
@Nez . Should be 4 new Amiibos, if thats your thing..... and that Wolf Link one will appear in-game and attack enemies on his own - but I dont recall any new Zelda one.

Sorry I meant Link Amiibo. Do you not agree that it seems worth it to own an amiibo with the benefits ?
@Nez Nah, the Amiibos for me, in that regard, are less interesting, especially pricewise, as e.g. most add rather useless items to the overall gaming experience and they end up being shelf-collectors-items until certain age, I guess. If the content would be of higher quality (similar to e.g. Lego Dimensions with full stories & levels) I would consider it.
Having said that, the Wolf Link one could be useful ... and perhaps Im confused but seems they do have indeed a new Zelda one out, released same day as the game.
"Tapping her into the game with reward you with random variety of plants. You could receive a shield as well."
