Hi all!
I bought Virtua Racing in the e-shop and while the game runs and plays fine, i got a problem with a graphic issue in the shadow of the car, that’s not the same as i saw on videos and pictures. On my TV, the car’s shadow has a sort of texture and not the gray scale that i see in every other case.
Could you kindly help me?
Thanks!

@ReTucano You can search youtube for "Virtua Racing Switch" & sort results by most recent upload date. That way those videos should be showing the game with all it's current updates, which should match what you see on your console. Sometimes updates that come out after a games release can add some slight improvement changes to a game, too.

There have been occassions where pictures & video clips on eshop have shown footage from other more powerful platforms. Everyone will agree it's dishonest, but as far as I know, eshop usually shows pictures & clips from the Switch version.

@ReTucano I have Virtua Racing, and similar to what @WoomyNNYes said, games do get updates. One of the updates added a gamma correction option (which can be activated via ZR while the game is in "attract mode"), to help adjust the colors (in the original for example, the bridge is red, not orange).

The eShop screenshots may be from a different version, or an early version of the port. The shadow looking "textured" (it's like a checkerboard-like design, which some classic Sega games did for shadows IIRC). My guess is they changed it to make it closer to the original arcade game.

I wouldn't call it a glitch as my copy of the game has it too, and early Sega 3D games did shadows like that.

@Sunsy Thanks very much! That gives me much more relief!!
