Hi everyone.

I am trying to have a better internet connection on my console, I usually play in portable mode, however the only connection I have available is via WIFI.

I would like to know if anyone has experience with an adapter for portable mode in which I can connect an ethernet cable and also charge the console, I was looking and found this model (under), it would be helpful if someone tells me a similar experience or if it does not work, thanks .

Unless you use the Dock with USB/ethernet connection that's your Docking option. WiFi depends on your router to ISP connection.

@Northwind My Switch works fine with my WiFi router. Your internet connections or poor router is the problem not the Switch. My router is a 2017 Netgear R7500v2 and works just fine.

I was wondering what the situation would be for Switch Lite systems, since they cannot be docked.
As it turns out, Nintendo does have an official support article about this.

HORI has an officially licensed accessory for the Switch Lite for this purpose, but it is also compatible with the standard Switch system.

This accessory will add a USB port to a Switch Lite or undocked Switch system. I believe the accessory itself might need power over USB-C for the USB port to work? Otherwise, I would wonder if a basic USB-A to USB-C converter would work for a USB LAN adapter.

That's pretty cool honestly. As long as you don't mind the bulk of the standard whilst you're holding the Switch in handheld model this should be fine?
