@SwitchForce Why would he need to contact the developer when he could just ask people on here who already own the game and know if it does or not? That's one of the purposes of forums surely, getting help from fellow gamers. If someone replies to @brandonbwii saying 'yes, I have the game and it does indeed have voice chat' , should he just discredit this and instead go straight to the developer? Who may or not even reply and if they do, could keep him waiting for a few days. I sent a Direct Message to the publisher of Vasara Collection 2 weeks ago, my message hasn't even been read yet despite them being active on Twitter since then. Doesn't bother me, that's just how it goes. Some reply some don't.
And notice neither responder provided any of what they were saying. Asking the developer is how you get the right information. Not from trolls just trolling and provided "0" info to the poster when they talk about what they are talking. But pass second info rather then they themself providing it.
Sorry to bring up and old post but I felt like the question should be answered.
Yes, Torchlight 2 offer integrated voice chat. No need for the NSO app.

Still waiting for a physical release before I buy. It was revealed last year, but then quietly disappeared. Maybe the publisher spoke too quickly when they suggested the msrp would be $20 for a physical copy but didn't factor in the Switch-tax? Who knows. https://www.gematsu.com/2019/06/torchlight-ii-for-ps4-xbox-on...
