If you have an iPhone, an iPad gives you nothing new but a bigger screen. The Switch gives you access to a growing, outstanding library of games from many different genres. iPad games aren't remotely comparable. It's roughly the difference of do you want dinner at a 5 star restaurant or some instant noodles? With iPad instant you get thousands of mostly the same instant noodles, where at the Nintendo restaurant you have a couple dozen great choices.
