This is the only thing that REALLY impressed me at E3. It feels like Zelda's lost a bit of the hype in recent years, even though the games have still been excellent.
It'll be great if this restores Zelda to where it was in the N64 era, being the best thing that exists in gaming upon release.

I can see this game being much more non linear. The gameplay demo reminded me a lot of the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt.

Graphx have somewhat started to peak no matter what most say. it is important to focus on and per-fect (like NIntendo always does) GAMEPLAY and then the epic graphics will follow

As expansive as the "open-world" looks I think Nintendo has been developing and hard at work on this game for a long time. I trust it will be an epic WiiU remote experience. Surprised they have kept it under wraps for so long. Then again, with the last couple of years of NIntendo gaming news , I could also see this as a quick release to drive up wiiu sales. just imagine a WiiU with Mario3d, MK, DK, SMASH, pikmin3, NEW ZELDA

not to mention Metroid P:rime 4 HAS to happen for WiiU!!!

I wonder if they intended for Link's gender to be androgynous. I think Link is either a girl this time around, or they just won't use anything the whole game to indicate his gender, leading many to speculate that he may in fact be a she even after release. Can't wait to see what Game Theory does to that! In any case, a female Link would be a good thing, or even if it's not Link at all, a female protagonist would be awesome. All of these announcements make the new Smash Bros roster seem very behind the times though...

A female Link.... Wow.... Aonuma is really to shake the series up. But if its just regular Link thats still fine. Link looks awesome in the game.

I highly doubt it's a female. People are just reaching. That looks like a guy to me in the trailer. If anything, you'll be able to choose gender.

Of course that's Link. And no, he's not female, people are just reaching. He's looking to shake things up, but Link is always the protagonist, it wouldn't be Zelda without him. Remember, they need to sell Wii Us, not stir controversy because the protagonist isn't Link, which really doesn't affect things anyway. And I mean honesty, who actually plays Link as Link. I always change to Jaz.

Oh man... I'm really am starting to think that person is actually Link and Zelda's child in the future.... That person looks like Link and Zelda... and is wielding a bow...................
