OK so I'm putting the call out for help.

Im coming back to the game after a long hiatus, and I'm at the final boss stage. I want to finish the game before we bid farewell to the Switch.

What things do I need to do/be aware of to make the final fight as easy as possible? Any particular items to get? I have the master sword but no idea what else.

As I said, I want to make this as painless as possible and just put that final stamp on the Switch before we welcome the S2.

Any help much appreciated

It's been way too long i can't remember. I will say, it's much harder than most bosses in a zelda game. Really tested my reflexes.

I thought the most resource heavy part was the cave/temple slog leading up to the final boss.

Just stepped back into the path leading up to demon King etc, and yeah, this is brutal. Definitely wouldn't recommend putting the game down for year and a half and coming back.

Get shields.

The first time I did it, I went in with ten shields and broke the lot of them. You can't have too many.

Luckily, I was getting pretty good at timing the dodges to get flurry rush and managed to wing it through the rest of the right.

I'd also recommend cooking several batches of five Sundelions to restore hearts lost to Gloom, and cook radishes/truffles individually for a full restore of hearts.

Has anybody else experienced frame rate issues while fighting Mucktorok in the switch 2 edition? Once he started shooting sludge, the frame rate took a hit which was rly jarring

Since I'm almost done with the game, I attempted the Korok Space Program for the first time! It was so freaking funny 🤣. Saved a video and everything.

@OctolingKing13, I've played 105 hours of it, stopped for the night about half an hour ago with the following preparations made to face Ganondorf, maybe tomorrow:
18 hearts
2 and a half stamina wheels
A Travel Medallion placed right in front of the hole in Gloom's Lair that leads to the Demon King's Army
All 5 Sages
The Master Sword
Three star defense Fierce Deity armor set
Lots of bows
120 plus arrows
Almost 40 Gibdo bones, perfect for fusing
All of my shields are rocket shields
A ton of meals that heal hearts damaged by gloom, as well as regular health ones (full food inventory)

In case my strat isn't obvious, it's one I found online: use rocket shields to launch myself into the air, then use bullet time to shoot a butt ton of arrows fused with Gibdo Bones at Ganondorf's face.

As for the Korok Space Program, here's a video that shows what it is:

I just attached a single rocket and launched the little dude into the sky.

The best korok space program (didn't know this was a term til just now, was one I made last year:

Hover stone.
Korok attached to the top
Hover stone attached to a grating square.
Four rockets, one on each corner
Four fans, one on each side
Add four large batteries to the top of each fan!

You will never see that Korok return!

It's a reference to the game Kerbal Space Program, which features a highly advanced physics engine, where you send little green men on space missions.

I'd highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed playing around with the physics engine in Tears of the Kingdom.

@Ultra128 Oh yeah, I watched that yesterday. It was interesting, and a decent watch.
