Just saw the expansion is coming to Switch. I own this physically, but now I want a digital copy. Unfortunately it's not on sale, but I imagine the expansion will get bundled with the base game. Probably just grab it then, unless it goes on sale in the meantime.

God so loved the world He sent His only Son- whoever believes on Him has eternal life. Unless you believe, you will die in your sins. Whoever believes, rivers of living water flow within them. John
@JaxonH You did very well to take it! It doesn't make much sense to buy the game digitally though: I have the physical copy and will buy Fatesworn separately. 😉
@TheWingedAvenger PS This morning I finished the first Crash Bandicoot. It is a very challenging game. But Nintendo fans who grew up with Donkey Kong Country have nothing to fear! 😉
Kingdoms of Amalur is quite possibly my favourite Switch game, definitely top five.
I didn't have much expectation going in, it looked a bit 'cartoony' in videos but by the finish I felt sad it was over. The Witcher 3 was fantastic, but after 200+ hours I had kind of had enough, not so this game.
The combat especially I loved. The world, while not as 'open' as something like Skyrim was fun to explore and find different areas. Side quests kept on coming, and I really enjoyed the Lore. Normally I start a game like this and think "right, I'm going to take my time and read everything" but rarely bother - here I did.
Enjoyed the different characters and voice acting and what really stood out over the Skyrim and Dragon's Dogma type games is that it isn't grim. Yes there is a war on, but it's not oppressive. It has darker moments of course, but not dwelt on too much.
Downsides? Little bug ridden and the facial animations could be better I guess, but as a satisfying, really fun escapism game it hit all the spots for me.
