Topic: Switcher 3: Wolven Armor Portal Glitch in Kaer Morhen

I'm trying to get the wolven armor in Kaer Morhen, but running into a potential glitch. On the watchtower, there's a portal that you need to go through. You need to find the crystal and put it into the spot it needs to go, then activate it with Aard. After that, a portal opens, but it looks unstable and Geralt says as much. Of course, being the daredevil that I am, I tried going through it anyway, but the portal brings you through another portal high up in the air and you fall to your death. After I reloaded my save, I found that there's another crystal close by that needs to be activated, so I activated that one and it stabilized the portal. My mission objective now says to go through that portal.

Unfortunately, every time I jump through the portal, I still get spawned high up in the air and fall to my death. The portal doesn't take me to a place where I get the armor.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a glitch that the developers never got around to fixing? Is anyone else experiencing this and did you find a way to overcome it?

Hmm, I certainly didn't have that problem, @Dr_Sausage_Dog .... Is there any chance you're going through the wrong way?
It is the portal you had to find a crystal for, right? Sorry if that's no help!

@BruceCM Yes, on the watchtower there's that portal activated by a crystal when you cast Aard on it. When activating it, Geralt says the portal is unstable and needs another crystal, so you have to find that, put it in place, and activated it to stabilize the portal. Doesn't work, unfortunately. I still get teleported high up in the sky to fall to my death. It's unfortunate, because I've been wanting that armor for my entire playthrough.

Looks like I fixed it. I updated my game and after that, the portal took me to where I needed to go to get the wolven armor diagrams.

Oh, good, @Dr_Sausage_Dog .... I think they've made some little change to those chests, so that's probably what was causing problems before
