Physical release for Luigi's Mansion 2 HD in Japan spotted online.

Switch Physical Collection - 1,555 games (as of March 31st, 2026)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)

Hmm, seems the mandatory download banner on the box art for OPUS: Echo of Starsong is a misprint?

Received my ESRB copy yesterday and...no download prompt.

P.S. - Play-Asia's next limited release will be Thunder Ray.

P.P.S. - Publisher Selecta Play have opted to release One Last Breath physically.

P.P.P.S. - Dave the Diver is up on AmazonNA.

Thunder Ray looked pretty neat from NLife's review, I'll probably grab a copy.

Nintendo UK Store have just opened up pre-orders for Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, with three options.
£49.99 for just the game - https://store.nintendo.co.uk/en/luigis-mansion-2-hd-700100000...
£54.99 for a "Mighty Fright" bundle that includes a 10cm "wobbly" Luigi figurine - https://store.nintendo.co.uk/en/mighty-fright-bundle-B00560
£68.99 for a "Spooky Scares Surival Kit" bundle, that additionally includes a mug, and a diorama - https://store.nintendo.co.uk/en/spooky-scares-survival-kit-bu...

The diorama in particular is a reproduction of a previous Club Nintendo Australia reward during the Year of Luigi.

@Magician The studio seems to have clarified on Twitter that the Download Required banner was a misprint:

Monster Hunter Stories Collection

MGS1 is on cartridge, MGS2 is a download code.

Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)

@Magician Is this the only physical version of MHS1? It's not a terrible price on Amazon right now, and I'm tempted.

@ElRoberico Seems there'll be a standalone physical release for MHS1 in Japan.

I don't know if it will support English, although Capcom usually do.

Monster Hunter Double Cross is one of the few that doesn't.

@ElRoberico @Magician
Play-Asia's listing for Monster Hunter Stories states it's multi-language, yeah, with Asia and Japanese region releases.
https://www.play-asia.com/monster-hunter-stories-multi-langua...
https://www.play-asia.com/monster-hunter-stories-multi-langua...

Curiously, the listed price for the Asia region release is $59.99, but the Japan region release is just $21.99? This seems like a pricing error that they'll probably correct, but hard to say if one's too cheap or too expensive.

Citizen Sleeper is coming from Fangamer.

I have a digital copy I got on deep discount that I have yet to play.

Very much like Disco Elysium I assume.

And Serenity Forge have opted Read Only Memories: Neurodiver.

Anyone here know if the Dave the Diver physical has the Godzilla and or Dredge DLC? I know about the announced Guilty Gear thing (never heard of it though), but like, there's two free DLCs that are out before the physical release and they're just... Ignoring them and adding a previously unmentioned DLC? And it's purely aesthetic? Just seems odd if they left them out.

Also, anyone know if LISA will get a NA release? It's Serenity Forge and they typically do... Sorry if you've all seen me post this in the reddit comments. I don't know the overlap of here and there.

I'm also curious on people's feelings of Talos Principle 2 getting a physical release for PS, but not switch (obviously bc it's not on switch yet), like couldn't they wait? Will they put out a switch version when it ports? How can they put out 1, but not 2?? Sigh...

@Aurumonado - Might have to double dip on that Wargroove, may have the built in audio patch.

Physical copies for Grounded coming via LRG.

Bit of a surprise that. Having never played it, I assumed it was a live servicey game.

@Magician - Yes and no. It is constantly updated, but if it goes the way of Rocket League, you can host local parties too.

Something MS actually knows to do with Minecraft.

So we know any news on Special Reserve's move to a more broader publishing since their shift early last year?

Apparently my Inscryption is out in the ether, and it may end up being a lost cause, but heard a little that we may see a reprint of the few latter games with less fluff.

Premium Edition Games had another direct presentation recently.

Their presentations are agonizing to watch though with poor production value and a lack of charisma, as they show full length trailers and talk at length about the games they've announced, and their email newsletters fail to adequately summarise their own announcements, so here's some summary:

  • Series 8 pre-orders opening with three titles (also available as a mega-pack):
    • Gordian Quest - Pre-orders available now
    • Tadpole Treble Encore - Pre-orders open April 8th
    • Scarlet Tower - Pre-orders open April 22nd
  • C.A.R.L. content update with expectation of being content-complete for a summer 2024 physical pre-order window
  • Showing of a previous trailer for Poglings (which has since announced on their Kickstarter that Yojoyco have to change development studios as their partner studio is struggling)
  • A Kickstarter update about Kristala
  • Kickstarter trailer promo for Godshard Chronicles
  • Kickstarter trailer promo for Atomic Owl
  • Curse Crackers: For Whom the Belle Toils revealed as a future physical release

The ones I'm most interested in are Tadpole Treble Encore and Curse Crackers. The latter is a pretty overlooked gem that few review sites have covered.
I'm hopeful that Nefarious might also get a Switch physical, being another game that Matthew Taranto of Brawl in the Family fame worked on.

@Paraka
Do you mean your order for Inscryption is lost in the mail or something?

They haven't announced anything further about their new Devolver Deluxe line yet, other than send out an email promoting some discounted fashion.

Oh and this might interest some UK collectors.
Bazaar-Bazaar have half-price on some previous Premium Edition releases. Sale ends on Tuesday 2nd April.
£15.00 - https://www.bazaar-bazaar.com/products/mighty-fight-federatio...
£18.00 - https://www.bazaar-bazaar.com/products/rack-n-ruin-standard-e...
£25.00 - https://www.bazaar-bazaar.com/products/rack-n-ruin-retro-edit...
£19.50 - https://www.bazaar-bazaar.com/products/rain-on-your-parade-st...
£29.99 - https://www.bazaar-bazaar.com/products/rain-on-your-parade-re...
£19.50 - https://www.bazaar-bazaar.com/products/wunderling-dx-standard...
£29.99 - https://www.bazaar-bazaar.com/products/wunderling-dx-retro-ed...

Bazaar-Bazaar is good, they ship stock domestically from UK so it's free.
I think they also offer a one-time discount code for new customers: AMZ001, worth trying if it still works.
