Topic: Switch or switch lite?

I'm in the U.S. and it's nigh impossible to find the console version of the Switch, but the Lite can usually be found (online and in stores). I've actually ended up with one of each - I ordered my daughter the Lite (because I couldn't get the console version) and about two days later, my father called me saying they had found the console one, bought it, and shipped it to me - so now I have both. I finally decided to hook the console up today (debated selling it) and compared it to my daughter's Lite. The screen on the tablet for the console version is bigger, but to me, the rest is pretty much the same. The Lite cannot be hooked up to the TV if that is an issue. The one thing that is already annoying me about the console version is that you have to not only charge the tablet (system), you also have to charge both controllers since each one is powered individually. The controller grip that comes with the system does NOT allow you to charge (but Nintendo will sell you one that does - go figure), so you have to keep them snapped into the tablet to charge. The Lite version you don't have to worry about this since it's one single piece. Not a huge deal, but something to think about. Now that I've played both, I would have no issue going with the Lite if I was more interested in mobile gaming.

@DonnyH Did you even look online at Walmart, Amazon, GameStop, BestBuy. If you want to find it you have to work to find it. They come as fast as they go. FYI Switch isn't a Tablet people whom uses such words are Dissing the Switch and will get unfavorable feedback. It's a Console let's get this Fact straight first. Lite or Switch both are Consoles. This isn't fandom but something people need to get the Facts straight. Your already missing the big picture of the Switch vs Switch Lite. One gives two options one gives one options and the screen size are a big difference. Alot of Switch gamers would beg to differ with your viewpoints.

@DonnyH seeing as the joycons have a 20 hour battery life, having to attach them to the tablet really isn't that big of deal tbh. How often are you going to be playing 20+hours straight? I too have both and prefer some aspects of the Lite as well!
