I have a switch lite and am having some issues. I have tried recalibrating my left control stick several times. The first recalibration worked for a couple days but then the problem came back and decapitation no longer helps. The problem occurs when moving towards the right. The movement is sort of jerky and sometimes doesn't register at all.
Does anyone else have experience with this? What other problems have you encountered?
@Kenchi Joycon drift/analog stick drift. There likely is debris in the contacts of the analog stick. It took Nintendo about 2 years to admit to the issue that can occur. Sometimes calibration is a temporary fix. Your situation likely requires repair. Can happen to pro controllers too. NL just posted a youtube video on the subject with pro controllers. There's another vid or article for joycons. Fixes usually require opening the jocon/pro controller. But I don't know how it goes with the Switch Lite. If you have to send to Nintendo for repair, before the outbreak, repair turnaround was fairly quick. I don't know status lately.
Have you tried cleaning under the rubber hood? If you use a cotton bud/q-tip to very gently push the rubber bit up and clean under it (can use a little bit of rubbing alcohol too), then it may resolve your issue. If it is a drifting issue, then this fix may just be temporary.
My brother's lite has this problem too. It's different from drift. It's like the analog stick just can't register the input properly when you move to the right.

Last I hear it was going to court so when did this get resolved? I think your jumping the gun here. They never admited to the issue yet nor said there was a problem. That was people saying or putting words into Nintendo mouth. I think they are smarter then to say something like your saying right now. Saying what your saying is shooting yourself in the foot before even going to court. No lawyers would tell them to say those words your saying.
“Regarding the Joy-Con, we apologize for any trouble caused to our customers,” said Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa.
Back in 2019, Nintendo issued the following statement to Kotaku regarding Joy-Con drift: “At Nintendo, we take great pride in creating quality products and we are continuously making improvements to them. We are aware of recent reports that some Joy-Con controllers are not responding correctly. We want our consumers to have fun with Nintendo Switch, and if anything falls short of this goal we always encourage them to visit http://support.nintendo.com so we can help.”
Doesn't mean that the case is resolved, but Nintendo has definitely acknowledged that there is a problem. Also by agreeing to fix Joy-Cons for free, even after warranty. The two sides will try to work out some kind of settlement, otherwise an arbitrator will decide how the case should proceed.

I was thinking of how the drift lawsuit triggered Nintendo to fix Switch controllers for free. https://www.cnet.com/news/nintendo-reportedly-fixing-joy-con-...
But you're right, they haven't officially made a statement admitting the switch analog sticks are failing.
