Folks, I’ve encountered it. I assumed it was a myth, but I have encountered the charging screen of death. Allegedly if you leave your switch turned off for at least 2 months, it won’t turn on.
Now I’m generally an expert on screens of death (to my dismay…) so I can assure you there’s a solution for this. Apparently leaving it charging overnight is good enough. The funny part though is that I just want to check my friend requests. 😅

@Lazz I’ve owned a switch since 2021 and would leave it off for months, turn it off, find out it’s fine. Today? Nuh-uh! I first heard this in a and a click baiting video that I knew was a load of bull but I suppose it was 25% true. anyways my switch has finally turned on at 33% charge so yay! all’s well that ends well right?
