Topic: Super Smash Bro's Ultimate vs Super Smash Bro's BRAWL

Here's the comparison of these two games.

Let's start of with Smash bro's Ultimate, a new and fun game which I have tested tons of new character's and a story mode.... ok so about the story mode, I've tried it it's just like fighting cpu's with a backstory unlike Super Smash Bro's Brawl which is like a platformer and fighting game which I've tried, really fun and just a perfect game but more about Super Smash Bro's, it's a game which is pretty fun and a nice new revamp, but I'd love for smash bro's ultimate to have a platformer story mode which is much more fun. But for the nintendo gamer's they also like older more nostalgic graphic's so it'd be really cool if there was a thing that made the the graphic's older Wii/Gamecube like, I know that there is some maps that are Wii/Gamecube such as the old mr game and watch one, but they're both great games.

Tbh as much as I like Smash Bros Ultimate, I think Subspace Emissary was a LOT better than World of Light. I mean, it actually had a plot to it and was interesting; way better than Ultimate’s WOL. Though, I do like the huge roster and stage selection for Ultimate in comparison to brawl. But I do think they’re both great games and I’ve had some fun memories with both.

Honestly, I really like brawl over ultimate. I feel like Ultimates single-player content kinda lacks. I can only do classic and regular battles so much before it grows a little boring. Sure, on a competitive level brawl isn't really the greatest but it just had so much more content. As mentioned already I find Subspace Emissary to be a lot more fun than WOL (especially since Subspace was co op). However, I really do miss a few of the smaller modes that brawl had like boss battles and target smash. I was quite disappointed that ultimate doesn't have some sort of boss rush mode. I thought it was cool that you could make your own custom messages when taunting online in brawl as well. I know you can technically do this in ultimate but they aren't completely custom-made and they only work at the start and end of a match.

Edit: I also miss the fact that you could send replays and pictures directly to people who were on your friends list. You can't do that in ultimate unless you go to the cesspool that is shared content 😅. Even if you do that the stuff you upload will be deleted eventually.

@Snatcher 100% same! My cousin came over to my house for a while after my brothers graduation a few weeks ago and we ended up playing brawl. We actually beat co-op boss battles on intense difficulty and it was amazing lol. As kids, doing that felt impossible 😂

Brawl's single player campaign is still the best of the series so far, played that a ton.

Not sure why, but each subsequent installment after Melee I played less than the previous one.
Maybe I've grown tired of the franchise, not sure, but I barely played Ultimate. I finished WoL, did a couple of vs battles, and that's basically it. I didn't even bother checking out most DLC characters even though I bought both Fighters passes.

That's a far cry from the N64 and Melee days where all I could think about was playing SSB.

@Vortexeo Subspace was amazing, I really wish they had done it in ultimate.
