@gimmi_c I really thought you can take that LE label off but it’s printed directly on the cover which I’m not too happy about. So your cover should be better.
Best to email them or use the online chat daytime hours. Nintendo uk are usually very good especially when using online chat and make you a reasonable offer or partial refund.
We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.
@1UP_MARIO cool, cheers. That's lame about the cover. Really glad we got an "official" stylus though, I collect peripherals so it's really cool! Wish I could get a few more of them, they don't tend to last very long.
To be honest I think I prefer using the pro controller for making over the stylus. It stinks going back and forth from controller to touch, and it isn't even that hard to get used to using the pro controller anyway. Also, as 2 of the creators in the game are actually characters from splatoon, do you think the other makers are also nintendo characters?
First impressions with this game are very positive! But I have to say, what the heck is with this trend of levels with no power ups? I've only played a few levels so far so it could just be the small sample size, but Mario games have always made use of power ups, and these "you must NEVER EVER get hit" levels are kinda annoying.

Don't think it's exactly masterclass level design, but I really wanted to implement this idea (especially what happens towards the end of the level, hope no one beat me to this).
First impressions for me: I wish they put more emphasis on the 4 universal themes. The secret item helps, but other than that, no new powerups and only 2 new enemies for the universal styles. I probably just built my expectations up too high, but I was expecting to be able to use the ice flower to freeze chargin chucks and use the hammer bro suit to flatten some rexes. It still is a great game though, I just wish that the new stuff hadn't been so heavily focused around 3d world. Maybe 8/10 for me, above average, just wish that they had different priorities.
The level follows a more traditional take on what you would find on a mainline 2d mario game. I was thinking of world 7 from SMB3.
The main challenge of the level is to collect all five pink coins & find all the bonus/secret areas! That's the closest I can get to star coins/dragon coins.
Also sad to see there's no P switch coins. Also I wonder if it's possible to control the camera, like to make it so it doesn't pan past a specific region.
