@YourGoodFriendly I played and finished your level. It's interesting, there's some good ideas in it, but yeah it can feel like a chore to play through, particularly at the near-end. I've played worse levels than this though, believe me!
But that's all right, we all learn from what we screw up on. In one of my levels, there's one part I regret doing now, so even I'm not perfect in that regard. It pretty much encourages us to make levels that are even better than before.

Hi all, I've re-uploaded my level based on The Cap Kingdom (Bonneton) from Super Mario Odyssey. Had to make a few fixes to bring it to a quality I was happy with. Fixes are based on the awesome feedback I had from the community.
Super Mario Odyssey - Bonneton
XBK-B30-Q4G
Short and sweet/ Themed
Super Mario Bros style
Easy difficulty
Mario has landed the Odyssey in the Cap Kingdom. It's under threat from Bowser and Mario must save Bonneton and it's residents. Meet Cappy and get your cap, explore Bonneton and climb the Cap Kingdom tower for a final battle.

Thank you thank you thank you. An amazing level. Can't wait to get back into it tonight. A lot to explore and have a feeling of high risk because it can be a long way back if you die. The notes were a good help too. Intrigued about the note before the end of the level
@MarioLover92
Well done! And thank you. I see Kyanos now holds the world record, might be time for you to reclaim your throne 😁
@Benjoo
So glad you're enjoying it! I felt the notes were necessary. I saw 70 attempts, but only 4 clears and less than half a dozen deaths. That tells me people gave up, likely at the start when they see the blocks and enemies and assume it's a troll trap (obviously its not, spin jump breaks the blocks and bounces off the spinies, which I must force the player to do to teach them for later. So just in case, a tutorial of sorts was provided.
Its split into 3 sections of 2 gauntlets with checkpoints, with 5 power ups to access new areas. So at worst, you're replaying 1/3 of the course. Best I could make it as they cap the checkpoints. And I did place them right before the hardest obstacle of spin jumping across the spinies, just in case so if someone times it wrong, they're not punished really, can try again right there.
Yes the note at the end isnt so much a vastly different path (already used up the ENTIRE 2 SCREENS lol), but it is a neat shortcut around the end boss.

@BanjoPickles I Am the One Who Knocks is definitely a good challenge level, for sure. At the start, I felt like it could use more of an introduction, in terms of setting the player's expectations for what to expect in this level. The giant BoomBoom (that madlad) caught me a bit off guard, but that may be the part of the theme based on the title, so I digress. Another note - be careful placing breakable blocks at the bottom of the screen as some people (me) may be tempted to break them to try and find a secret, only to be frustrated to find death instead. I thought the sprite work was interesting, which I'm always a fan of, and even without watching the show, I can see their relevance to the theme. AMAZING checkpoint, as I died pretty much immediately after getting it. The pipe with fire flowers was a good call during the BoomBoom + Bowser Boss, as once I found it my stress dropped significantly. Finally, there was no obvious way to get to the top of the checkpoint, which while small, some people enjoy.
So, as you can see, only nitpicks and praise. Awesome level!
@MyNameIsRandy Super Shmup Brothers was short but enjoyable throughout. First of all, kudos for implementing a lesser used mechanic into your level as it made the experience feel fresh. Personally, I thought that it had great pacing, introducing the ideas of canons, bloopers, and fire piranha plants with just a couple of each than scaling it up as it progressed. Also, I think it's awesome you give the player both the fire flower and Yoshi back, as finding the second Yoshi was actually a highlight of level for me. In terms of improvement, I found that some areas felt a bit cramped, which while adding difficult can be a bit rough to get through with the bulky, bouncy Clown Car. Also, to further represent the scaling difficulty of your level, maybe a barrage of many larger enemies could have been an effective finale, as the canons, while good, weren't spectacular. But besides these nitpicks, all great. Keep making!
@NintendoByNature Pick your Poison was a pleasure to play! I think it was smart how you used the skull blocks as warnings for the fireballs, as any danger that suddenly flies onto the screen without warning has the potential to be an annoyance. In the top path, the Koopatroopa felt very fulfilling, as I was able to use it to farm 1-ups with the Goombas AND take out the hammer bros, which I appreciated (hammer bros are kind of the worst imo so). In the bottom path, I was kind of jarred by the 3 consecutive super mushrooms, as it felt a little overkill. Maybe replace one with 1-ups or a propeller helmet (the latter would have paid off during the boss fight). Finally, I think the repeated string of Bonzai Bills was a cool concept, and it was honestly the most engaging and fun way I've seen the enemy be used yet! It's a heart from me!
@YourGoodFriendly Poltergeist Heist was spectacular! All I can say, really, is that the teleporting flying blocks were so creative and really made this level one I could see ending up under the Popular tab. They completely suited the ghost house aesthetic, and when paired with the time system you had, made this one of the only levels which could raise my heartbeat in a fun and balanced way. Even then, your checkpoint and sprite work were both on point, resulting in the level being an absolute pleasure to play. Awesome!
@NamelessDXD As someone who is nowhere near good enough to play Kaizo levels: 0.0
@Mark733 As someone who's played the original and updated versions of Super Mario Odyssey - Bonneton, I have to say the changes you made really turned a great recreation into an excellent one! All of my critiques with it are now gone, as the p-block makes it much easier to put on Cappy, the Madame Broode fight is mandatory, and the door reduces the risk of falling of the skull block due to the shoe. Not to mention that the moons pixel are is nicely done. Overall, a fantastic stage!
@NorseGamerTommy It's rare to find a reference level that's both faithful to the source material and also a complete blast to play in 2D. Honestly, make more - this was great!
@Mika1122 I love the rewards for exploration and the additional aesthetic details added, such as the cactuses, vines, and semisolid platforms in Koopa Cave Adventure V2 as they really bring the world to life - my favorite thing in a Mario level. However, I found the experience to be punishingly difficult so I was forced to give up after a certain point. I plan on coming back later though, and checking out your other levels, so keep in touch!
@Sal_cz In Mind the saw, the Hammer bro in ? block is not the best call imo. Try and be careful with troll elements if you want your level to get liked, as the majority of the player base does not like these types of features. However, I will say it does fit the aesthetic of a ghost house, as well as appears relatively early. Therefore, based on the polish of the rest of the level, I think that it has been playtested to the point of you knowing the bro should not be too much of a nuisance. That being said, the rest of the level was actually really fun! No one section outstayed its welcome and the experience was challenging but completely fair, only killing me twice after the checkpoint. Loved it!
@Supernumel Thanks for feedback, it is first level I've ever created so really glad you enjoyed it overall.
BTW I don't like troll elements either, the Hamerbro really shouldn't get you killed. I placed it there mainly for multiplayer.
@Supernumel Thank you very much for the improvements you mentioned. Was glad to go back in and update the level based on them. Thanks again for replaying it, makes it all worthwhile:)
Hello, my son has created this one and is waiting for some likes : 02V-FTF-HSF
Easy start, then once you stepped in the car you don't need to touch any controls, and you'll be brought to the end after a crazy ride!
Thank you for playing it!
