I happen to like both. The new voice actor manages to retain Mario's iconic sound, but still makes him sound fresh. But of course nothing beats Charles Martinet's iconic performance! The talking flowers I found rather funny and charming. But I heard that other people find them annoying.

1. Don't care, it doesn't sound all that different to me. Martinet is a legend but it isn't like nobody else can pull off a good Mario voice.
2. Eh, some were interesting some were annoying.

So what's everyones opinion on:
1. Mario's new voice?
2. The talking flowers?
1. Seemed perfectly fine.
2. Despised. I muted them quite quickly and mostly didn't even read the text they spoke because I found even that a bit annoying. I was tempted to turn off the flower text as well as the voice but decided not to in case they were ever helpful (although they never ended up being helpful as it turned out).

1. Kevin Afghani does a good job as Mario (and a decent one as Wario), but I honestly think he kills it as Luigi.
2. I wasn't sure if I'd mute the flowers or not, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked them. They had a few genuinely funny lines, and otherwise were charming for the most part.
@dionysos283
1) Mario's new voice is actually pretty good. Kevin Afghani's performance sounds very much spot on to that of Charles Martinet, so I didn't notice anything off.
2) I actually like the talking flowers. They add quite a bit of charm to the game, and one of their lines even made me laugh!

Didn't mind either myself, if you didn't tell me Mario changed his voice actor I wouldn't have said much. Felt like they were using new recording technology since his voice just sounded a little crispier, punchier even. As for the flowers, they're great. Acted really well and they add this nice, un-cynical commentary to the game with some nice observational comedy
As stated before, in my opinion the game's presentation is top notch! But for me it was too easy and too short. So I hope they'll release DLC with more difficult levels.
I do not want any DLC for the game, and if there is to be paid DLC of any kind, that they either issue a standalone release a la New Super Luigi U, or an all-in-one physical release.
Porygon did nothing wrong.

What are your hopes and wishes for future DLC?
I'm pretty much just hoping for paid DLC with lots of challenge modes, including mini challenges like in nsmbu, race modes for the normal levels, maybe extra characters who move differently a la Super Luigi U, the ability to play the whole game with fixed badges, etc.

1. Sounded good so i was fine with it.
2. LOVED THEM! From the start I knew I would and I was right
Space and Games are similar. Space is endless and new stuff is out there waiting to be discovered. Games are always being made but the creativity is different from one game to another and so many more ideas still haven't been imagined or created yet. (That came out better than expected lol)
That final level is an absolute nightmare. Started off with my usual Peach...but got very frustrated about 30 lives in. Switch to Yoshi thinking things would be much easier and...still, very difficult. No idea how I would've done this with Peach.
About 100 lives later I finished it. Unluckily managed to miss the top of the flag pole by a millimetre. Ah well, think it's a while before I want to touch that stage again. Quite possibly the most difficult Mario stage I've ever played.
@Buizel
I think the last level was quite manageable with all the flagpoles in between. What made the level so excruciatingly difficult is the invisibility part at the end.
@Buizel Yeah that section seriously took me about 30 to 40 tries before I finally did it. What makes it so painful is that you don't even have a checkpoint for that specific section, you have the jet run and grapple section to get through as well, so it takes even longer.
Reminds me of how in a Metroidvania or Souls-like when the checkpoint is really far away from a boss, so you have to backtrack a ton to get back to it.

@Buizel Ah yeah, it's a mega-tough level for sure, including that invisible part. Surprisingly enough, I did that part in like 2-3 attempts upon getting there. The hardest part for me personally though, was the spring jump part. I've lost count of how many lives I've lost over there.
