Topic: Splatoon 3

Oh, wow. Playing SR solo, I got very lucky, and got matched with a good team. We got 137 eggs. Enough for gold for Big Run.

EDIT: I'm reporting Grumblevolcano (below) for getting 5 more eggs that me😠😠. ...So banned!!

My first time getting enough for gold, the team I was on was able to get 142 eggs on Barnacle & Dime. Grizzco Roller is definitely my new favourite weapon now, so fun to use.

I love BIG Big Run! I always thought the Salmonids invading just one stage felt so anticlimactic.. Now it feels like an actual proper invasion. Plus you also get all the diversity of the random rotating stages to keep things fresh. BTW, this is actually the first time in Salmon Run history that we get to play on more than just one stage at a time. Triumvirate is brutal, but awesome and chaotic fun, though the time limit really doesn't cut it for all 3 Kings simultaneously. And of course the Grizzco Roller.. What else needs to be said? Maybe the best Grizzco weapon to date. I really hope BIG Big Run isn't a one time deal.

OMG I just had a Triumvirate on HIGH TIDE on Inkblot. We didn't stand a chance..

I'm really loving the Grizzco Roller, but does anyone else keep mistaking the its sound for a Scrapper and running away from it?

Wooo! Finally got my gold trophy! I was starting to worry, but finally got a solid team and pulled it off.

@CaleBoi25 Really? How much have you played? Keep an eye on the Salometer in the lobby. When that is full you are very close to getting the Triumvirate

I got 139, probably could’ve gotten more but I’ve been super busy this weekend and haven’t had much time. Multiple sites is cool, even if some feel easier than others. I love the new roller, it may be my new favourite Grizzco weapon along with the Dualies. Triumvirate is cool, I still haven’t beaten one but it’s delightfully chaotic and challenging. Overall I really hope this isn’t the final big run, since it’s one of the best parts of Splatoon 3.

I got a bronze, I rarely even play Salmon Run so kinda happy I got something. I played 3 Triumvirate's and lost then all, 1 on Eeltail, 1 on Barnacle and on Um'ami. Had a lot of fun though!

@Croctopus Damn.. You are top latteboi/chewoomy level! I need to play with you LOL. Is there any difference with the Trium at max hazard though? Is their HP higher or something?

In two whole days of BIG Big Run, I failed once, the rest I cleared completely... and I didn't get a single Triumvirate Xtrawave!

Ended on a Silver Trophy with a 125 hi-score myself. Didn't much of a chance to play too much of Big Big Run myself due to exam revision taking precedent first and foremost but the 3-4 hours I managed to squeeze in were a ton of fun; it was nice to head back to some of the earlier BR maps like Wahoo again, the Triumvirate was utterly absurd in a great way and Grizzco Roller might be the most fun SR weapon in the whole game honestly. Overall I had a pretty great time and it'll be fun to see what happens going forward with Big Run as there's definitely a sense of finality to this one; maybe something will happen with FinalFest? Who knows :3

This seems to be teasing more Big Run.

I experienced a weird bug. While Big Run when the the match has started, the game crashed. I was like, oookkaaay? Well, start the game again....

--- NOPE!.... It says the game files are corrupted. What? I didn't know that this can happen to a physical game?

I had to download something(?) for 45 minutes. I think it was the update files, but not sure. It said updates downloaded in the top left corner and DLC is now playable.
In the entire lifespan of the Switch that never ever happened to me. So I was actually surprised that the redownload (for a physical game) thing existed.

@Budda Oh no, that sucks! I'm sorry to hear! I'm guessing it was the update files that got screwed up, since this was during Big Run. Is your game OK now? You may want to check the game for corrupted data before you start playing it again. Do give us an update. You may also want to contact Nintendo about this. I'm sure they'll help you out.

Yes it's fine now. I had to wait another 10 minutes for disconnecting as well. In total I had to wait an hour. Kind of annoying if you ask me.

There was a time during Big Run that I was inexplicably kicked out of a job, and then got a warning for disconnecting & got the ten minute ban, even though I didn't disconnect.
