@CaleBoi25 I still remember getting destroyed by Heavy Edits and Dread Wringers in Anarchy the night Drizzle Season dropped lol. I hadn’t been playing Anarchy a few months ago as much as I do now so the rank drop was painful to go through

I've been playinga bit of Anarchy (Series) for first time since like the first season. Still a bit of a pain but had a good run in Rainmaker today. Easy 5-0 series followed by 2-1 in my rank up battle before rotation. Didn't fancy my chances in Tower Control so waited for Splat Zones and got another strong team and a quick knockout. Back to S+ which is all I really cared about to unlock X Battle again.

Had a pretty good run of Clam Blitz in between while waiting for rotation too so game's being nice to me today although still pretty laggy.

My favourite mode is tower control because as a charger main I can just sit back and wait for the tower to come to me and my least favourite is clams because it’s quite hard to coordinate your attacks with only a ‘this way’ or ‘booyah’ in soloQ

@woomynnyes I believe that was you who jumped into my Turf War game yesterday, no? (named SpaceDandy?) I just picked up ELiter and was testing it out, but unfortunately only got to do a few rounds, if you were wondering why I left so soon.

Salmon Run was ok yesterday. But, Wowwww. Today is a different story. I'm getting more Salmon Run teammates with less than 100 hours in splatoon 3 than normal. 25hrs, 35, 88. Trying to grind Salmon Run ended up tanking my rank. The game seems so intent to destroy my rank, and I'm so tired of the slow & painful spriral that I demoted myself as far as the game would let me. Surely, now, I can finish a job (3 waves). Surely, now the game is happy. Go-Getter 40. This will be interesting. (while also not paying well)

Hey, didn't you change your Splatoon 3 display name to "TeamFrye" for the Spaltfest? I thought the game says you can't change your display name for 30 days. It's a week later, and your name is back to CaleBoi.

@WoomyNNYes I only changed my Nintendo Account name to FryeGuy25, not my IGN. So throughout the fest I was still CaleBoi.

Claim blitz is so hard for me because I feel like it needs communication, something that most solo queue players lack.

@CaleBoi25 Yeah, they were some decent matches. I think I got a bit lucky with the .52 gal there at Sturgeon Shipyard, but yeah, I was cleaning up with the .52 Gal+Splash Wall+Killer Wail.😆 Anyone on the other team could have easily tossed a bomb over my splash wall to get me out of the center of the map, but no body did. XD Maybe our team was just doing that good. It was good fun tossing out Splash Walls for teammates tool!

Anyone think Splatoon would be worth it just for the single player given the new neat looking DLC? I love the world so much, I just don't really like team multiplayer games. Granted, the DLC costs extra money... if I could get the main game + DLC for $50 or less I would be very tempted.

I really wish instead of totally different gameplay DLC, they had simply made a spinoff game. I think Splatoon is absolutely ripe for a whole franchise of spinoffs.

Booted up & started a new play through of Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion. It's been long enough, that it seems new again. Such an impressive game.

@FishyS I personally got Splatoon 2 just for the single player. I think I started falling for the game by the time I played the first boss. The mechanics, levels and music are impressive. I had so much fun with the weapons that I did end up playing Turf War/online, but I still get really excited any time there's new single player.

Anyway, I'm assuming you're talking about getting Splatoon 3. If you were to pick your first Splatoon game, I would say get Splatoon 3. The physical version has gone on sale for $50 frequently (looking at the deku deals site price history). And currently, Walmart has that $50 sale price. (there are 2-3 really tough levels in Splatoon 3, but they aren't needed to progress through the game.)

@FishyS Splatoon’s main appeal is the online/multiplayer and the story mode in 3 along with the other games isn’t very long. 3’s plot is better though. 3 seems to be in the $40 (used) - $60 zone and adding the expansion pass ($25) would bring the total to around $65 - $85. I personally wouldn’t buy a Splatoon game just for the story mode but the user above me provided some insight as to why they bought it for the single player

That’s the great thing about this game, people play it for different reasons but they all have a great time

@fishys I think Splatoon’s Story Mode is top notch but if you aren’t completely sold on it, the price is a bit high, especially if you also want the DLC. However, if you have a way to play the game first (perhaps a friend’s copy) and you enjoy it, then the Story Mode plus Online Battles are certainly worth the entry fee, IMO.

@CaleBoi25 Eggstra Works usually fall in the 2nd month of a season if previous ones are anything to go by so it could still happen. Odd how they haven't announced anything in regards to it though....

Been putting together sets for more weapons lately and finally getting around to working on one for the Slosher. Not sure why I haven't bothered until now considering how much I used the dang thing in Splatoon 2. Feels right back at home.

Just need my drink tickets to stop being useless so I can finish my set.

I wanted to ask, on this site if I were to reset the seed would it remove all of it? Or just reset the seed I already have to the start? Because there’s a gold capsule in the next 13 pulls and I wanna see what it does.
