Speaking of 16 splats by @BenAV (comment #1976), what are people's record high number for Salmon Run Revivals? I got 12 revivals recently in Salmon Run, but I imagine others here have a higher personal record.

@WoomyNNYes Probably this from when I was playing with a couple of friends not too long after launch.

Man team sweet had more than half the votes?? I was expecting it to be a bit closer because I thought everyone was having such a hard time picking a team 😂

GG everyone, I knew from when the categories were revealed the Sweet was gonna take the cake (pun intended) but it was still a lot of fun. Tricolor battles feel fully realized now and the experience was much more balanced overall.

I still really do hope that we get more creative/ crossover themes in the future. The Pokemon one was pretty cool, so maybe we’ll get a Tears of the Kingdom one or something.

My gosh. I really like the Big Bubbler special. I finally realized, if I get splatted while my big bubbler is still up, and I can super jump right back there. Easy peezy. I used that benefit a bunch today.

Surprise mother hugger! 🤣
Take sniper mcgee, for instance. You'll see I get splatted, but super jump right back to my Big Bubbler.

GG to Spicy and Sour, i haven’t won a fest since Mushroom VS Star (when i first started playing 2) so this is AMAZING.

@WoomyNNYes In Salmon Run, I think my revival record is 10 from memory but the best I see on the app is 9. Have to say, 12 is really good, but damn @BenAV, 23 revivals!? That's on a whole other levem

@GreenTea It was the first time one of my friends had played Salmon Run in Splatoon 3 so it was way easier than what I was used to and the other guy was probably new to it as well so everyone was dying a lot but the quotas were low enough for me to carry them. Couldn't do that at VP level.

@BenAV Ah, I see, still impressive though!

Weird, I've just had a match where for the last 20ish seconds my side were unable to do anything as we were stuck to the spot but the other team were still active.

@Snatcher There's 2 options on the first day (open and pro) and 3 options on the second day (open, pro and tricolor). Pro is the equivalent of a solo queue in other games.

Congrats to Team Sweet! I may have been Team Spicy pretty much from the offset but a part of me was also rooting for Sweet since it'd finally give Frye her first Splatfest win so I'm pretty pleased with this outcome overall. This Splatfest certainly had issues (why on earth would you allow MIRROR MATCHES) but I left pretty satisfied overall and I can't wait for the next one to roll around!

I think the most popular splatfest team has been the winnng team for most, or all, of splatoon 3's splatfests, so far. That's why I picked team Sweet. If there's no change to splatfest calculations, that's how I'm choosing a team next time.

Just saw the Splatfest results for the first time in-game, and it seriously made my day that I saw that my team, Team Sweet, won! Considering how many times Team Spicy has beat me, I seriously thought that they would win this one. They definitely put up a good fight, same with Team Sour. Good games, everyone. Now I just have to wait until my birthday to have my delicious cake!
