Haven't played my switch in a while.
Picked it up and my SNES Online Link to the Past save game is from ages ago?? My latest save isn't there.
I've only ever had the one save game on there.
Any ideas why this would happen?
Any way to get it back?
P.s. didn't know about suspend points until I started looking into this..
@ninja7777 It's probably the last time you saved within the game itself. In case you were wondering, there's no way to overwrite other save files while you're playing, it just saves the file currently in use. Where do you remember saving your progress? (examples: in a dungeon, Hyrule, etc.) Worst case scenario, you may need to work your way back up, then save. You could use the suspend points as you've mentioned, too.
@MarioLover92 Actually I saved it religiously, like using "save and quit" option. Last time I saved I was in Ganon's Tower. I was so stoked to get that far. Now I'm many, many saves back from that, I would have saved over a dozen times since the point it's at now. Now my progress is probably halfway through the game. Haha I guess I just have to do it again! What a shame though. I just wish I understood why so I could avoid the issue again. Will definitely use the suspend points as well next time.
@ninja7777 Huh...that's odd. I never had that happen to me. The only way I think that would happen is that you'd download what save data was backed up prior to your most recent session. Sorry that happened though. I also would've been upset if I was so close to beating the game, only to lose my hard work in the end.
