The sd card reader in my NS wasn’t working, so after watching various videos on how to fix this I attempted to fix the issue. I ended up replacing the reader with another one from my neighbours old NS which hadn’t been used for some time (but did work fine). This fix has resulted in the screen when playing hand held to be very temperamental and not display at times, until I remove the back cover again it miraculously comes back on. Very strange. If I remove the reader completely it doesn’t switch on at all. All works fine on tv when in dock. Can anybody help on what I can do to fix this issue?
@Beschr28 Spawn Wave has mentioned the fix on many 3DSes is a screen ribbon not being seated good. I don't know if the same logic applies to the Switch.
