This is the exact card I would buy, were I to buy a 128GB card right now. Though I would suggest the 200GB model instead - as that is the size I use. If you can wait, these cards tend to go on sale - I got my 200GB card for only 50 bucks last holiday. No matter what you do, Sandisk is an excellent company. - Just avoid the Nintendo themed cards, as you are paying extra just for the name. The 128GB Sandisk Mario Kart themed card is 20 dollars more than the 128gb regular card for no reason.

For me I started with a 200gb my sister I got a 128gb because the prices where outrageous because of the price fixing on the cards at that time. But if you keep your eShop and Physical to a limit a 128 should do fine but if you look at Amazon the 200gb isn't that far from the 128gb in price either. In terms of NS bigger is always better. I got a 400gb and did the right formatting and Nintendo instructions and everything went smoothly it now says I got 256gb free not like 88gb from the last 200gb I had. But as you build your collection eventually the space will get smaller but if not then just at least looking at the 200gb Sandisk should be a option to look at.
The only time I will see the 400gb drop is if when they get the 1tb microsd but that will be most likely in 2019 as they will want to squeeze the bloodmoney from the 400gb before then.
