Topic: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game - Complete Edition

Hey all! Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game - Complete Edition is here. It rises from it's digital grave and makes a return to modern consoles with all of it's DLC. Nicely timed for it's 10th anniversary!

The game will be priced $14.99 and it's digital only.

Coming somewhere near the end of 2020.

Brilliant news! I loved the film and manga but at the time the game came out I was a Nintendo and PC gamer so I never got a chance to play it.

I am so freaking happy right now

Digital only until a boutique publisher like LRG offers it physically.

Sorry, I'm too crushed about PoP not coming to Switch to be happy

@Magician would Ubisoft let someone else publish their game though?

14.99? I'd pay that, I was worried they'll charge too much for it. Never got the chance to get the DLC before it got taken off the store.

I'm down for this

Never got around to getting the DLC on 360. I'll be fixing that mistake big time!

It’s a really fun game, but its reputation has been burnished by the fact it’s been unavailable for so long. I liked it at the time, but I’ve not been longing to play it again since. A seven or eight out of ten for me.

The film, on the other hand, still owns.

Is this limited time like Nintendo games?

@sixrings about 6 full days on the eshop. Give or take a decade

@sixrings there’s probably a license agreement in place for the Scott Pilgrim name which means they can’t sell it after X amount of years which is why the first one was removed from.

@jump true. Nintendo probably has license agreements which stop them from selling Mario games after March 31.

@sixrings Lol. You nailed it.

If only Nintendo could sort out the tangle of rights for Mario games. It’s worse than FF Crisis Core...

im happy this game is getting resurrected for its fans.
its an important preservation.
this time around i may look into...

Missed this when it first came out, will definitely be picking it up. Now we just need Disney to allow a re-release of Marvel vs Capcom 2

I'd be down for a physical version of this, especially if it had some nice art book or comic stuff included to justify the (presumed) extra cost of printing and such.

I remember playing through this game with a friend on Xbox Live Arcade many years ago. Definitely a fun game. I don't think I'll be buying it again, but it was fun for a playthrough.

It's finally got a release date of 14th Jan. I'm really looking forward to this.
