Has anybody used a replacement analog stick kit for joycons that they recommend in the US? I want to fix it myself, instead of sending it in. There are a lot of options out there, so I was hoping for a recommendation.
@WoomyNNYes I've replace a few myself - bought a couple of sets of 'ginkano' branded sticks a couple of times from Amazon in the UK - seem to be available on Amazon US - and they're all still working fine. Last time I ordered they were not available and bought 'Veperain' branded ones instead, but one of those was faulty out of the box so won't be using those again - I couldn't find those on Amazon US anyway. My son has a disability which affects his motor skills so he's pretty rough on the various joy-cons he has.
Before you get replacement sticks, it's worth trying WD40 Contact Cleaner (not regular WD40) on the base of the sticks - managed to eliminate the drift on both left and right on my own joy cons over the last year or so and they've been working great since.
