❗Which (Licensed) PS3 Games would you like ported to Switch?
I know Switch has a fair amount of ports but ports aren't necessarilya bad thing.
I'd love to see:
1️⃣Battlefield 1943
-This Online-only Game is just TOO good.
Only three guns, three vehicles and three maps but SO. MUCH. FUN.
2️⃣GTA5
-I only really cared for the Online Mode.
HOPEFULLY, something could be done about stopping the invincible/invisible modders.
3️⃣Sleeping Dogs
-As a fan of both 'True Crime' Games, I would love to replay this with all DLC ('cuz I ain't buying it all again).
4️⃣Army Of TWO: The 40th Day
-I would also like the first Game, maybe as a double-pack
5️⃣Watchmen: The End Is Nigh
-Both parts obviously.
I actually enjoyed this Game, ESPECIALLY playing as Rorshach.
🔸️SPECIAL MENTION🔸️
Test Drive: Unlimited 2
-One of my favourite Games on PS3 but would I really want to re-do all my progress? (I had 929 hours on the in-Game clock)
The Activision/Marvel games, specifically both previous Ultimate Alliances, Spider-Man: Web of Shadows Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Spider-Man: Edge of Time
The former is pretty obvious considering Ultimate Alliance is a Nintendo-exclusive IP now even if UA3 has no plot connection at all to the original duology, but the latter three are also highly underrated Spider-Man games, with one being an amazing swan song for Treyarch's time with the character, delivering the best combat of their games as well as the best usage of the symbiotes as a plot device in any Spider-Man game so far, and the latter two being highly underrated action-adventure titles that both not only inspired the Spider-Verse concept, but featured such faithful reinterpretations of each Spider-Man's respective mythos that it not only brought characters like Spidey Noir and 2099 back into the limelight, but it single-handedly resurrected interest in their comics as well, particularly Miguel O' Hara's stories. To top it all off, each Spider-Man in Shattered Dimensions is voiced by a former voice actor for the character from Spidey's previous TV shows:
Neil Patrick Harris (The New Animated Series) as Amazing Spider-Man
Josh Keaton (Spectacular Spider-Man) as Ultimate Spider-Man
Christopher Daniel Barnes (Spider-Man: The Animated Series) as Spider-Man Noir
David Gilvezan (Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends) as Spider-Man 2099
The latter three are way less likely to happen due to Insomniac currently possessing the Spider-Man game license and Activision having lost it for about 7 years now, which led to them delisting all these games from digital stores and retail, but I can dream.
@Agriculture I would love to have Fo3/NV ported over but feel that 'The Outer Worlds' has scratched that itch and as I type, the last piece of DLC is about to be released.
3D Dot Game Heroes. It's not necessarily the PS3 game I want to play the most, but I won't be able to play it at all unless it gets a port as it's physical only and very expensive now.
(Also Persona 5 is a PS3 game so that too)
Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Nintendo Music
Split/Second and blur. Both criminally overlooked arcade racing games, that I believe cut into each other's sales as they came out the same month. I think the Switch effect would give them renewed attention, and sales numbers more in line with their quality. Plus they have the kind of handling where analogue throttle control is unnecessary. Perfect games to port to switch.
Metal Gear Solid 4 is still stuck on PS3 for some reason. So that would be great.
It's most likely a victim of the fallout between Konami and Kojima. They'd presumably have to settle their differences before any official ports could happen, and that could take some time. At least it's possible to emulate the game on a PC now though.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengenace is presumably stuck in the same limbo, which is a particular shame because there's already a port to the Nvidia Shield that runs on almost identical hardware to the Switch.
