When i first got my switch i said i would NEVER play on it undocked and it will stay at home at all times as i thought the handheld screen would be awful especially for BotW. After a week i thought i would take it to work for me to play during lunch but thought i would hate the small screen.
I was impressed and now i play at work every lunch and don't see the problem with the small screen.

The fact that I can take my home console saves with me on-the-go still blows my mind! I dock whenever I can, so I guess you could say that it's my favoured way of playing - but it's still quite a thrill to know that I can play even if the TV isn't available
S'a good thing you can play in whatever way you want, huh? I prefer playing Disgaea 5 in handheld mode. Feels way more personal and intimate an experience. But on the other hand, I prefer playing Splatoon 2 on the tv. It just feels much better and easier to see everything going on. Sometimes, the tiniest little tell-tale sign might be missed in handheld but on the tv, you have a better chance of noticing it.
Never take anything I say seriously. S'all you buddy. ;)
Mainly play on my Switch but I have 3DS, Wii U and PS4 as well.
Fave game series include: Pokemon, Smash Bros, Splatoon, Disgaea, Bayonetta, Dragons Dogma, Phantasy Star & Arena of Valor.
Hmm I don't know why you get that feeling, I play a lot in handheld mode and I find the Switch's screen really neat (except for backlight, I don't see a damn thing if I'm outside and it's sunny)
I enjoy my New 3DS XL for portability (Obviously)
Playing the games on the go is just like a Dream comes True.
No need TV, just turn on Switch, insert cart / touch the games icon, Ready to play !
@Natzore Switch is still the best handheld screen around in sunlight. Unless it's | DIRECT | (insert hand gesture) sunlight, I find it works perfectly visibly. Unlike all versions of 3DS, PSP, and Vita that get almost entirely washed out in any kind of sunlight short of heavy, deep forest shade. It won't hold a candle to a iPhone/Galaxy, or high end tablet, though it also doesn't blow the battery in 20 minutes running a 2000nit light
I probably play more in Handheld than I do on TV. TV mode is nice and it's good seeing Hyrule in all its glory, but being able to take my Switch portable with me and play wherever is the money maker here
