Hi, is it possible to play super mario party that was released in 2018 on a switch purchased in 2020?

Thank you

@heidi518 yep it's fine, why would you think it wouldn't?

@heidi518 Yes, every Switch game works on every Switch. Just be aware that you'll need a pair of Joy-Con controllers to play Super Mario Party; these come with the regular Switch model but not the Switch Lite, so if you have a Switch Lite you may need to buy those controllers. Otherwise you should be fine.

Thank you Nintendo for giving us Donkey Kong Jr Math on Nintendo Music

Thanks both. I was looking to find a 2nd hand game and folks kept referring to 2018 and i thought that maybe there are different versions based on the switch production year.

@heidi518 It's because despite being the latest entry in a long running series, it's not numbered. So people say the year so people know which Mario Party is being talked about.

@WoomyNNYes It might be obvious to some people but I can understand why it might be confusing to others.
