Topic: Platinum's YouTube teaseBayonetta 3?

I wasn't really sure where to post this, but if it's coming, it's coming to Switch.

I read on the internet that Platinum games have their own YouTube page, and recently (in the past 2 weeks) they've been uploading clips of Bayonetta 1 and 2. But what makes this interesting is each video has the clip repeated 3 times.

Seeing we're only a few weeks away from E3- and a few months from the 2 Bayonetta amiibo which reconfirms Nintendo's commitment to the franchise-this can't just be some trolling.

Can it?

We can only hope. It would be an instant buy for me.

That's a pretty big tease there.To me that says Bayonetta 3 is on the way and if not I'll eat my hat.The only question is will be it a Switch exclusive?What a nightmare it would be if it was only coming to the other platforms though.Considering Nintendo's relationship with Platinum though I doubt they'd let that happen.

@OorWullie It'll be strange either way I think, haha. Either it's multiplatform in which some people will be confused why they can play 1 and 3 on Sony and MS consoles but not 2, or it's a Switch exclusive again and it remains that only the first is playable on other consoles.

Either way though, I'm confident the Switch will get it!

Please be Bayonetta 3! Maybe even a reveal at E3 for the Switch? It would be awesome if they offered a bundle with all 3 games, like they did with Bayonetta 2 with the original

@FGPackers Yeah, that was as bad as the Nintendo/Square situation regarding FFVII in the 90s. I don't see Platinum's future games appearing on XB1 anytime soon.

I can still see their games popping up on the Xbox, they are guns for hire so if a publisher like Square or whoever wants a multiplatform game they still have to do it. I don't think we will see anything exclusive though but Microsoft don't seem that keen on exclusives much anymore anyway.

@Grumblevolcano I don't foresee the end of PG games on Xbox. Think about it, PG doesn't publish its own games, other companies do. I don't see a reason why SEGA or Square Enix would not release the game on Xbox. Because MS cancelled a PG project in the past? Of course not!

I think that when you add in the fact that Nintendo are waiting until July to release the Bayonetta Smash amiibo (and both 1 and 2 versions for that matter), it's pretty obvious that Nintendo still value the character and want to keep her in their hands. Otherwise they would have been released in January or February without any fanfare. Plus Platinum have been listed as developing for the Switch, and I can't think of too many other things that they could be working on (no matter how much I want W102). Kamiya has said that after Scalebound he was going to try to make Bayonetta 3- well Scalebound isn't taking up his time anymore.

I know I'd buy 1and 2 again on the Switch even after mining ever single bit of content out of both games.

@MrGawain Scalebound was cancelled this year. If they reveal Bayo 3, it's been longer in the works.

I would expect Bayonetta 3 to be out first on the Switch, but not exclusive.
