Topic: Pac-man vs. issue: It keeps saying "No main console was detected"

What is going on? Anyone else having this issue? I just noticed it's a free download in the new releases section of the eshop.

Pac-Man VS. is part of Namco Museum. If you want to play the game with other people, you can have them download the free app to play with you. It doesn't function on it's own though. Basically it exists because there is no download play.

So this can only be played locally with multiple Switches? I thought this was online multiplayer. Their documentation and instructions are non-existent.

Per the UK website: A copy of NAMCO MUSEUM™ is required to play multiplayer. It is not possible to play multiplayer using only PAC-MAN™ VS. (Free Multiplayer-only Ver.). Four-player multiplayer mode requires two Nintendo Switch consoles.

If there was online play, it would be mentioned during this disclaimer that it wasn't rated, so I would assume not.

I'm having trouble with the single console Pacman VS. It doesn't allow any other controllers to sync up. Any ideas? All the other games work fine
