For a few years now, my switch has had a lot of overheating problems.
It has gotten worse and worse over time, and as of today my switch will be overheating after a single game of mariokart, and i'm talking almost painful to the touch overheating. I'm pretty sure that the fan inside is broken, but before i go and try to replace it, i was wondering if any of you guys had any other ideas ?
I lastly want to add that my screen has become glitched and broken multiple times already because of the overheating, and that i live in malaysia, a country with no official nintendo support or repair center.
Thank you for any information you could give me !

@Bxrry252 Assuming you've had some good use from your Switch over the years (how long have you had it, and how intensively has it been used over that time?), I'd say it's time to be realistic and look for a good deal on a new or secondhand Switch to replace your current one. But if you've got the knowledge and skill to try diagnosing and repairing the issue yourself then very best of luck with it.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

@Bxrry252 Nintendo sites the temperature range the switch is designed for. https://www.nintendo.com/my/support/qa/detail/33804
And it's true, it's easier for the Switch to overheat in warmer temerature.

It's possible your van may need replacing. You'll need the right screw drivers and also thermal pasted to replace the fan. You can find youtube instructional videos. If you don't want to do the job yourself, a computer/tablet/game-console repair place may offer repairs for the Switch, like replacing the fan.

ifixit on youtube has a teardown video. Others have walkthroughs for replacing the fan.

You’ll have to call Nintendo to get it repaired/replaced, or get it fixed.
