Well, I've spent the day on the phone with HSBC, three times so far. They kindly declined my preorder with Nintendo just in case it was fraud, so I switched to a different checking account and used that debit card instead. That one was also frozen for fraud prevention, so I called and they fixed that, and I resubmitted the order with my credit card rather than debit. HSBC then called me to say they'd frozen my first card (again) because of an unrelated Amazon order. I really thought I was going to be out of luck, but it seems the CC order did work, and Nintendo tell me my order should be shipped today. Gosh! What a lot of fuss.
On the bright side, BOTW showed up earlier today. Hopefully I'll get an actual shipping notification soon!
Edit: I have a tracking number from Nintendo! What a relief!
Yeah, still awaiting dispatch from Amazon on mine. Optimistic that if they took my money this morning that could very well mean it's already dispatched and their communication just isn't the best this time around what with the sheer amount of orders.
Don't they usually take the money only once it's dispatched?
Amazon took my money, but still just says "shipping now" under Zelda and the switch. Waiting for that much coveted phone notification that says "shipped: Nintendo switch".

Forgot to say....I won £88 in the National Lottery, so I pre-ordered the Pro controller as well (direct from Nintendo this time).......It's also been dispatched and should be here tomorrow!!
My Switch system has shipped from Best Buy Canada but the order status says it'll arrive 'as early as March 7' since I selected 'Free Shipping' - oops! I kind of figured I may not get it day 1 but it certainly will be nice if it arrives tomorrow! I ordered Zelda and a Pro Controller separately and haven't received a shipping notice for them but both say they'll arrive as early as March 7.
