Topic: Nintendo Switch Online 12+2 promo doubt

Hi everyone.
I have an active NSO membership that will auto-renew on 31/12, I saw that there is a 12+2 promotion in these days, but it is not clear to me if this will also be applied to active subscriptions with auto-renew by extending the existing expiring date of 12+2 months.
Have any of you done this and know exactly how it works?

@GeneralFulbright I THINK I saw someone on nintendoswitch reddit say a redeem code for two months is emailed to you after you sub, but I'm not 100% certain.

Can anyone else confirm or correct me?

How it works is, if you buy it within the time period of the offer, you get a redeem code via email. If you already have a subscription, and you change to a other subscription tier, you get the rest time of your subscription refunded. (For excample you have 2 months online+expansion left and changing to regular, around $8 get refunded.)

Yes, you can extend your current subscription. I've done it couple of times.
