Topic: Nintendo switch lite screen help!!!!

Can anyone help me??? I disconnected the internal battery, and when I reconnected the battery the screen is completely black. Had a look with torch on screen and screen is fine. Just no back-light now!! All the connectors are fine. I'm really confused??

Did you disconnect the cable to the screen at the same time? Try reseating the cable in the ZIF socket, and check the ribbon for any damage.

Have you tried changing the screen brightness settings? I have never used a Switch Lite but I had an old laptop that completely turned off the backlight when it was on the lowest brightness setting.
Did the Switch have any other problems before you opened it and removed the battery? Also, did you do anything else other than replacing the battery?

Update:- Sadly things didn't go great. Whilst I was reconnecting ribbon cable by the battery connector, it started smoking!!! Checked the ribbon cable and there is now visible damage. Gonna need to replace that now definitely. Still can't understand why the back-light originally went wrong?
