Anti-Matter

I'm thinking about The Sims 4 on Nintendo Switch.
And if that game on Switch, i will kiss goodbye to my PS4.

I think 2019 will be pretty much 2018 pt. 2 on the Switch front just with more 3rd party support. Spread out known first party 2019 games with Wii U ports (possibly also Wii HD remasters given the Skyward Sword tease) and DLC filling in gaps. If Smash and Pokemon is enough to keep 2018 momentum then Animal Crossing and Pokemon is for sure enough to keep 2019 momentum.

Somewhat safe predictions:

-Metroid Prime 4 becomes a 2020 release, but gets a big E3 gameplay reveal.
-A surprise sequel to Mario Odyssey is revealed as a 2020 release.
-Nintendo adds SNES titles to the Switch Online service.

Less-likely predictions:

-Nintendo launches Gamecube Selects: HD rereleases at a reduced price of $40 apiece. Super Mario Sunshine, Pikmin 1+2 (bundle), Metroid Prime Trilogy ($50), Luigi's Mansion.
-Rockstar announces GTA V, and Red Dead Redemption 1.
-Nintendo forms a partnership with From Software to revive Kid Icarus, once again. Basically, the new Kid Icarus would be Switch's answer to the PS4 exclusive Bloodborne.

Titles that will launch in 2019:

-Yoshi
-Daemon X Machina
-No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again
-Animal Crossing
-Saints Row III
-Bayonetta 3
-Luigi's Mansion 3
-Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3

I'm going to take the opposite direction and make completely wild predictions.

First off, Retro Studios has not been working on Metroid Prime 4, some other studio has. Retro has been working on a 3D Donkey Kong game in the same vein as DK64, which will be released in 2019.

Nintendo themselves has been working on a new IP which will be an RPG with branching story similar to Mass Effect.

We will also get a new Classic console, which of course will be the console Nintendo released after the SNES - that's right the Virtual Boy Classic is coming 2019.

After that we will receive confirmation that Pikmin & Animal Crossing is in development. That's not two separate games, Nintendo is making a game that is basically a mashup of the two different series.

Virtual Console is not coming to Switch, so Hideki Kamiya will make reality of his threats to cancel Bayonetta as punishment for this. To compensate for this Nintendo will make a stand alone expansion to Breath of the Wild which will take place in a single castle similar to how Ocarina of Time was originally envisioned.

Super Mario Sunshine is getting a full remake, release date to be determined, and GTA V will launch on Switch in 2019. An indie developer will develop a competitive online game where the two players will play two completely different games that will somehow interact with each other.

I always get somewhat bummed whenever people start speculating about the Switch's future years. It's always the same, safe, stale, bare-minimum predictions, mostly consisting of games we already know. I'm going to start taking some risks here first party wise.

January - New Super Mario Bros. U DX, Fit Boxing (Nintendo published outside Japan)
February - Dragon Quest Builders II (Nintendo Published outside Japan), Puzzle League Forever
March - Yoshi's Crafted World, Nintendo Labo: Toy-Con 04 - Outdoors Kit
April - Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, New Casual IP
May - Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Daemon X Machina (Nintendo published outside Japan)
June - WarioWare: Freestyle, Luigi's Mansion 3
July - New IP, Nintendo Labo: Toy-Con 05 - City Kit
August - ARMS II, New IP
September - Pokemon Rose and Violet, Wii U port (Pikmin 3?)
October - Fire Emblem fighting game by Arc System Works, New Digital IP (ala Snipperclips)
November - Metroid Prime 4: Desolation, new eShop only game
December - Animal Crossing: Road Trip

I look forward to seeing what other PS3/360 ports will come to Switch. We know Panic Button is working on Doom Eternal and a couple or few other things. But what about Iron Galaxy? They did a fantastic job on Skyrim and Diablo III. Virtuous? Now that Dark Souls is released I assume they're working on the Final Fantasy X/X-2 port. Blind Squirrel? WWE 2k18 was not good. However, I hold out hope that Take Two Interactive will contract them to port BioShock: The Collection to the Switch.
