Topic: Nintendo Eshop bug?

Everyonce in awhile I get extremely frustrated when I try to open the eshop I get stuck at the enter password screen. It won't let me enter anything or respond to any buttons. I have to exit the eshop with the home button and then the problem usually sticks around for a few rounds before I can finally get it to work. I usually try to launch it in different ways from different links and such to get it working.

Anyone else have issues with the password screen on the eshop? I have had it happen to me over multiple software versions.

You want to know which password I use to know if it is specific to the bug?

Would it do you any good with out my username?

Is it for parental controls?

Could be part of the cause of the bug. There are parental controls on the console.

That is why the eshop asks for a password I guess? Doesn't everyones eshop ask for a password?

Mine doesn't. You may need to disable parental controls in the Console Settings.

Go to Settings > Parental Controls > Change Settings > Enter Pin > Press "X" to delete controls and confirm.

there is also an option to disable the eshop to ask for the password everytime. This has nothing to do with parental control.

you can find this option in your eshop settings. There should be an option to skip entering the password upon starting the eshop

These solutions don't help because I want the password protection to be there. I just want to be able to enter the password on the password screen reliably.

I have my kids all with user accounts but only I make the purchases on there.

I have seen this a few times. I can't enter anything in the password box, the keyboard never comes up but if I exit and restart the eshop it usually works
