Sorry for the really late response, I've been busy and I was trying to respond to others in the Chit-Chat Thread as well.

Yeah, the collabs that Ninjala has done have been really well done, and I would say that they're only improving with each one. The hammer is still annoying for sure, I do feel like they have made the weapons more balanced than they were at launch (even if some of the weapons are still really OP).

That's good that you have a weapon that finally "clicked" for you. I do feel like that definitely helps, no matter what game it's for. Yeah, the initial tutorial was definitely different than past tutorials I've seen before, but I (somehow) was fine with the initial tutorial, but I'm glad there's a new tutorial, as that seemed to be a major con for quite a few people.

I'm assuming you mean you had so much Jala that you got the Pass for free.

That did seem to be the case. I noticed that when Ninjala was first revealed that people seemed to be really excited/hyped for it, but when it was fully revealed last year in the March Direct Mini, a lot of those same people began to lose interest or began to hate on it, and that was before it released. Glad to hear that majority of the issues you had with Ninjala have been fixed now.

If you don't mind me asking, what were some of the issues you had with Ninjala when it first launched?

Sorry to hear that you're no longer playing Apex Legends. I didn't even know that you were playing that. I also didn't realize that Apex Legends was really buggy. I thought there was a couple of issues with it when it launched, but I thought they were fixed, but I guess they haven't been fixed. Let's hope EA doesn't mess up Knockout City, as it seems to be doing well, and seemed to be well made.

I'm glad to hear that Ninjala has become what you've wanted it to. I mean, I asked a question, and you gave your answer. I tend to prefer a longer answer, even though I don't like walls of text usually, because I like to know people's reasoning behind something if that makes sense. This helps my question that I had.

I actually have a question for you. Do you know when they changed the main lobby area to be themed around the 1 year anniversary? 🤔
I assume it was on the 1st anniversary of Ninjala, but I just wanted to double-check.

Well I haven't quit, quit apex legends, as I go back to it time to time, but there last event messed up a few characters and I didn't want to play the game till it was fixed, they have fixed it now thankfully but now we have hackers in ranked in junk, so I just kinda sorta keep my distanced.

What were my issues with the game when it first showed up? well the main kicker for me was the battle system, bc its not like the Rock paper S thing can't work, but they had no idea how to do it right back then, the whole battle system revolved around that so its, You attack said player, and even if you were doing pretty well, they can just make a big fat come back if they get lucky, and true wile this can still happen, you can avoid it if you want, you can avoid it or even end a battle quickly if your able to predicted when your opponent is going to parry, you can break it and avoid it.

My 2nd issue with this game and is still kinda here but not as bad now.

Are the weapons, some weapons were just to busted or not Good at all, Bc of this you had to pick a weapon that was mid tier or high tier, anything else would not net you any wins.

And yes the sound hammers and spinner yo-yo's are still a pain in the butt bc the sound hammers have to do nothing but stun you to net a kill, luckily, you can fight from a distanced if you want to, to avoid that sort of thing. then you have your yo-yo spinner, that thing is still and was, just plain annoying, the rang is stupid, and the darn thing can spawn next to your character if it wishes, same with the Surf sword (As I call it) it can to spawn next to you, and even chase you down like mad bc of it.

But all of that can be avoided if you play right, and thats what I wanted from this game, was an actual combat system, the combat system sucked at first bc there was no real skill apart of it, now you actually have to think, and not just press ZR and hope you win, and some weapons have armor on there, making it have to think, will my opponent pick down for the shield or will they press up bc I think there going to go for the shield. Stuff like that is what made the game better in the end, and yes it still has some stuff it needs to go work out, but the game is finally at a place that I wish it was when it first came out.

Oh okay, I see. It still sucks that you're unable to enjoy Apex Legends like you were before. Yikes, didn't realize that hackers had taken over Apex Legends.

I can understand that. I didn't seem to be bugged by the fact that players were using the Rock Paper Scissors thing more when Ninjala launched. I do feel that the player base is becoming better/more skilled with the various tactics in Ninjala. You also can press the L button to jump out of it once you're in the RPS parry thing, so there's that as well.

Yeah, while the weapons aren't as crazy as they used to be, there still are some pretty OP (like the sound (or electric) hammer weapon). I haven't had too many problems with the Yo-Yo weapons, but I can definitely see why other people would have problems with them.

I think I tend to still do the ZR thing and hope to win strategy, but I feel like I'm trying to be more skilled at Ninjala than I have been though. I'm just worried that if I focused on becoming skilled too much, that I'll not enjoy Ninjala as much, and end up slowing dropping it, like I did with Splatoon 2. (Although, that wasn't the only reason why I dropped Splatoon 2).

@SM3DASislit Nah I think you can be fine as long as you want to get as good as you want to, If I want to be good at something, I get good at it to the point were I feel ok at the level of skill that i'm at, after that you just self learn everything else, I hope I'm making sense.

Yes I just spen't money on this game, why, bc man I wasn't ready for the colab skins to cost that much, But lucky me, I had 4 bucks left over on my e shop, so I used it to get the one of the skins, and one gatcha for the swords, And I still have enough for the next battle pass, If I make it to the end, I needed to spend money on this game, I started playing for demon slayer, and I'm going to get demon slayer.

Yeah, you're making total sense. Something that I noticed when I started playing online consistently is that I tend to have quite a competitive spirit, so I have to be careful to not get too involved with being competitive, otherwise, it starts to drag down the game for me. I'm not one of these "I need to beat everyone at everything" type of person either. I hope what I said makes sense.

EDIT: Also, good luck with getting the Demon Slayer collab stuff that you're wanting to get.

@SM3DASislit Oh your making sense, and I feel you, Its why I put a limit on how good I want to get at a game. Oh ya I did get one of the skins, I got nezuko, The only wan I wanted, I did want muzan but he is gacha and I'm not about why to lose all my cash over chance.

Okay; I'm glad that I made sense with what I said. Sometimes, I can not be as clear as I want to be, when I'm talking about something like that.

Yeah, I had to change how I was playing in Smash because of the same issue I was having with Splatoon 2. TBH, I'm probably just going to wait until Splatoon 3 releases, so I can have a "fresh start" with Splatoon.

Also, glad to hear you go the Demon Slayer collab skin that you wanted. I actually haven't the gacha feature at all, so I get where you're coming from.

@SM3DASislit Yea I'm just going to use the free jala on some emotes are somthin, I really did want something from demon slayer and I got it so i'm pretty happy with my self.

That makes sense; I think the only time I bought Jala was near launch when they had the 500 Jala for $1 offer. I felt the same way when I got the KPP song and emote when they had the KPP collab the second, as I ended up really liking the song, and the emote is really cool as well, so I completely understand that.
