Not sure about the 75%, @NintendoByNature.... Some of these are already on Steam or coming soon, though Of course, with indies being much smaller studios, there's a lot more likelihood of delays, generally

@BruceCM i dk... i feel like the majority at least, give a date that never comes to fruition. It just seems that way. And I totally get that they're smaller and delays are more likely, but it just feels like they get show cased, so all eyes are on them, and the majority tend to fall out of the original release window. Im not upset or demanding answers or anything like that, just pointing it out.

Yeah, I dunno about the examples you gave, for instance but we'll have to see about the games that are supposed to be next year, @NintendoByNature.... A good chunk are out already, if not yet on Switch, so that's promising

Eh, that really was not my cup of tea for the indie world show. Very few of these games seemed to stand out from the crowd of most indies

Loved seeing the Indian developer though, there isn't enough Indian cultural representation in games these days

Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F

@iKhan I liked the Indian development too. That was the highlight of the show. Just waiting for a review. But I'm more than ready for actual first party Nintendo games. I didn't buy a switch to play partner showcase games or Indies.

@BruceCM yea well see. Now we just need a general direct to take my mind off delays lol 😜

@damien33ad I find the fact that it just so happened to occur a couple of days after the Skyward Sword ā€œleakā€ completely makes it seem fake. Also why is everyone making such a big deal about it? It’s not like we didn’t know BOTW existed, and a special edition was practically a given. Unless it’s actually coming THIS YEAR which I doubt incredibly. We’ll hear about it at E3 next year probably. Until then just be patient y’all. This upcoming direct that is probably happen should (hopefully) fill that Nintendo shaped hole in our hearts.

@damien33ad I’m expecting Mario Kart or Donkey Kong for holiday. And we’ll get a 2D Metroid either late this year or early next year

@damien33ad I'm expecting 3D World to be the only remaining unannounced 1st party title this year.

As a big indie fan, I thought the Indie World was great! Unfortunately for my wallet, I found the vast majority of the games shown to be pretty interesting. The only negative was a couple things that set off my OCD - now having Torchlight 2 and 3 but not 1, and having all the Supergiant games except Pyre.

The Indie Direct yesterday was pretty Blah for me.
Nothing interesting but only Untitled Goose Game 2 players update caught my attention.
I didn't miss anything as i have kept my eyes peeled on other indie games from their Twitter despite they were not presented from the Direct.
I still keep my eyes on Re:Legend, Sikanda, Farm Folks from their Twitter.

No good deed
Will I do
AGAIN...!!!

That would be a really big disappoinment.

The game itself was initially announced in 2014, tbh until I read your post I has assumed it was released already and I just missed it.

Knowing Nintendo, that would probably be true given this year, which would be annoying. 3D World is the worst 3D Mario for me, not to mention, yet another Wii U port... Is it bad to want something new? Don't hate ports normally, but I wanted something different than repeating the Wii U grade.

Signature, huh? Where do I sign?

@Blooper987 a new Mario Kart that unpected, Nintendo usally do a Mario Kart per console, and what companie do you think is gonna develop a new Donkey Kong Country game if Nintendo release as the holiday title of Switch for this year? i can't be Retro Studios, Retro Studios is busy working on Metroid Prime 4, maybe Playtronic will help in the development of a new Donkey Kong Country game perhaps?

i like HD Rumble.

Now that's pretty damn pessimistic. We've already had 2018 where the Switch had almost no big games. I really don't think we can have another year like that, which 2020 would be in your scenario.
In my mind they need at least 2 new big games for the fourth quarter. Not including ports.

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

@MS7000 Especially considering that there have only been 3 completly new First Party games this year: Animal Crossing, Paper Mario and Clubhouse Games, everything else (Tokyo Mirage Session, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Xenoblade Chronicles DE, Pikmin 3 Deluxe) have only been ports/remaster/remakes
So if the last thing remaining were only another port would be really dissapointing
