There’s a difference between optimism and naivety

I know its only the 17th @BabyYoshi12 but I highly doubt that thay would announce something on the weekend and I also dont expect a shadow drop to be happening.

Naivety- Thinking something will happen when it’s very very very very unlikely.

Optimism- Pretending something good will happen, whether you actually believe it or not.

Yeah, I don’t think it will but it definitely won’t if we tell ourselves it won’t. Plus, there’s still quite a bit of a chance that it could happen. I’d say about a 25% chance it’s a shadow drop.

But seriously, it could be shadow dropped and Friday isn’t even over yet.

They could have one on Tuesday with an announcement Monday.

But really... after the Paper Mario announcement and that weird Treehouse event, it has become even harder to predict what’s next with Nintendo. I don’t remember any rumors being able to predict the occurrence of those 2 events.

What do you call a bunch of optimists who make predictions based on "leaks"?

I’ve got $5 with a friend on Nintendo announcing a “surprise” Mario maker 2 update with new skin.. which coexists alongside Mario remake with said skin

@LzWinky Yeah, I deep down don’t think it’ll happen. But it’s possible, isn’t it? I just don’t get why everyone is saying it won’t happen, when it wasn’t supposed to happen until Monday in the first place.
