It came to mind that the MH Digital Event is a lot later than usual. The previous ones were at 2pm or 3pm UK time but this one is at 11pm UK time.
Feels like either there's a Direct/State of Play in its normal slot or there's a Direct/State of Play just before the Digital Event (10pm UK time) which features the game.
@TeaCatherine Nintendo alway do Nintendo Direct in the middle of a month, rarely in the beging of the month, also they dont want to interfere with the Kirby Return to Dreamland remake marketing
@Giancarlothomaz Actually that's not true (look at the Wikipedia page if you don't believe me.) For instance last years February Direct was on the 9th and there have been plenty near the beginning of the month.
Currently playing: Metal Gear Solid
Back burner: Hollow Knight, Undertale
I sincerely hope it isn't the 15th or 16th, since I won't be able to watch it at all if it is. Also yeah, Nintendo usually does a direct at the beginning of the month, within the first or second weeks.

The past showcases that in general a February Direct can be on any week except the final week as that week belongs to Pokemon. It's the stuff we know is happening but know little about that suggests earlier in the month. I mentioned earlier in the thread about Splatoon 3 Season 3 but also I remembered that Square Enix generally loves to shadow drop "final" demos a few weeks before launch in Directs and as Octopath 2 is launching February 24th, that doesn't leave much room for a demo.
I'm pretty certain if we are to get a Direct in February that it'll be within the first week or two. Not only is it a pretty common occurence (like @VoidofLight said) but there's also the worst kept secret of a Pokemon Presents most likely happening at the end of the month to coincide with a new Pokemon SV update. Based off of the last time we've had a Direct and Presents in the same month (February 2022), Nintendo like to separate them out as much humanly possible in order for both to get the most amount of reach possible. This combined with the eShop data updating it's listings for TOTK and Advance Wars and it seems pretty likely that we're gonna be having a fun night in the near future

@Fizza Then you have Universal of California's Nintendo World, which opens on the 17th, so I'd imagine there'd probably be a direct that week specifically for the opening of the place.

If we get a direct this month it'll right before or after the investor thing, so like others have said within the first or second week.
The monster hunter thing being so darn late (for Europe) might point towards that day but if we don't get the announcement today it's not happening Wednesday
I think there will definitely be a Direct in the next month or so. This is because Nintendo's marketing strategy for TOTK seems to be showing trailers at highly-hyped events, like a Direct or E3. The only question is how the Direct will be used. It could either be:
A 5-min extended trailer, much like the one for BOTW (you know, the one with the unused music).
Show a short trailer, followed by an announcement of a dedicated direct soon after.
@chapuH there will be another teaser for Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, Nintendo focus will be on Kirby Return to Dreamland remake and Bayonetta Origins, after the release of both games, they will begin to focus on Tears of the Kingdom, unless in the Nintendo Direct, there a anouncement for a game to april(since this is the only month so far missing a game), also Tears of the Kingdom dont need a huge marketing campaing to suceed, 1 month or week is enough for the game, just the fact the game is a sequel to one of the best game of the franchise, will drive a lot of interest in the game.
Sometime next week would be fine and dandy. Keeping hope near the cellar, as per usual. I'm here for the third party announcements. Unless we've got something new Punch-Out or F-Zero related, I don't care about what else Nintendo could bring to the table. Any Mario, Zelda, or Pokemon announcements you've considered mentioning....go ahead and keep those to yourself, Nintendo.
We've had our fill with those franchises.
If we get a 2D Mario announcement, I'm going to roll my eyes hard enough to snap my optic nerve.
