Topic: Next Nintendo Direct?

Perhaps the announcement of something could happen on Monday but I'm not particularly expecting anything ..... Sometime soonish, they would, hopefully, announce some game for September?

@Grumblevolcano @jump It isn't fake, looking at it, its just some fan account. All they are saying is there is no Direct today but maybe an announcement.

It's a joke account that posts "no" everyday there's no direct, and they gave an update about there's no direct today.

Looks like no direct on monday mates.

I mean, it's no less likely than it was before this morning. By which I mean, almost certainly not going to happen. But last time there was a general Monday direct (in like, 2015 or something I think), I believe it was announced on a Saturday, no? Of course, Sunday directs were also still a thing back then.

You right, there is still loads of time for an announcement.

I'm not sure Nintendo would shadow drop a full Direct, if it's a shadow drop I bet it's the Mario Collection only.

Edit: BTW I don't know why people expected a grand announcement today. I'm fully expecting regardless of whether it's a mini-direct, a full direct or just a little Mario 35th anniversary announcement that it will be shadow dropped or announced a hour or two before. If the rumour is true.

The lack of info NOW, by 5PM BST means nothing. If this is a real thing we'll get info before it, maybe even a day before.

@Reprise Of all the Direct styles, only the Direct Mini has been a shadow drop. Everything else has been announced at least 1 day before and given Nintendo's social accounts are silent on the weekend that suggests if no announcement today then either the Direct is either a Mini or doesn't exist.

@Grumblevolcano Well I'm expecting a mini personally or even just a 5/10 minute Mario themed announcement. But I guess we'll find out soon. As you said, or it could be nothing. Monday always did seem like a strange day. That's why I figured if anything did happen it would be shadow dropped or announced a few hours beforehand.

I hope the rumour is true. Nintendo fans could do with something to brighten their days/weeks.

Though in all honesty, don’t get your hopes up. Imo, no trustworthy sources have confirmed this Direct, but I’m an optimist, so yeah. Could be.
